T O P I C R E V I E WmockingbirdIt's 1) My chart ruler (Scorp Asc)2) In the 12h (the house ruled by my Sun sign, Pisces)3) Unaspected, save a tight quincunx with my Sun4) Kind of a singleton - it's the only Cardinal in my chart (Libra). I keep reading conflicting things on whether or not that counts. It seems important. People have told me my entire life that I'm intimidating (no lie - a story that my Mom likes to tell is that when I was 4, my Grandfather said to her, "That girl's intimidating," after a game of Go Fish ), but I couldn't feel further from that.I usually feel awkward and out of place rather than "scary".Any thoughts?------------------If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects.FaithMaybe because it is in your 12H, it functions by giving off a kind of subliminal wavelength, and because it is unaspected, your other planets can't really reign it in or modulate it, it's just like a pure, psychic Pluto transmission. And as chart ruler, maybe it has something like a "louder" psychic emission, so people aren't just unnerved in a way they can't describe but rattled to the point where they want to acknowledge "strange things are afoot here." You are always very nice, and I can see why you don't think of yourself as intimidating. Maybe what they call "intimidating" is just powerful...and you use that for good, but they feel the power before they get to witness the good you create with it.Something like that?mockingbirdThat makes sense. If so, though, how does one work with that energy if it's so cut off from the rest of the chart, especially given that it (astrologically) seems pretty integral?---Re: unconscious projection: Your comment spurred me to remember one incident in particular. The summer between my junior and senior highschool years, I worked in an amusement park. One night (around 11pm) after an open-to-close double shift, I sat in my car while waiting for the one pump at a nearby gas station to become free. I was exhausted - it was all day in July heat - and just kind of zoned out, gazing straight ahead. To my surprise, the two large men at the car at the pump started talking and then together walked over to my car to confront me."You got a problem?""What? No...I've just been working all day and am tired, waiting for the pump."They seemed genuinely surprised to see that I was just a 17-year-old girl. Their whole demeanor and stance changed."Oh...ok. I thought you was staring us down.""Nope. Just tired. Sorry if I seemed like I was staring.""Hey, no problem - have a good night."That's the kind of intimidation I seem to throw at people until they get to know me.Several of my high school friends (after high school) said tht I intimidated all of the boys and that's why no one ever asked me out. (And you've seen my pic, Faith - I'm not gorgeous, but I'm better than a sharp stick in the eye.)Even my husband said that I intimidated him, that it would have taken him months to ask me out (if I hadn't been so aggressive in pursuing him).In meetings, too, when I was working, everyone would fall silent when I had something to say - always surprised the heck out of me (my coworkers were usually far from silent techies).------------------If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects.FaithLOL, I can totally see all your coworkers falling silent when you stood up to talk! I saw your picture and I was like..."Um, I wouldn't mess with her....." Even though you are good looking (!) and friendly looking (!) I can tell at a glance that you are more Plutonian than me. And I tend to just fall in line in the Plutonian "pecking order." LilyIt's not Pluto. Pluto is hidden in your 12th house. It's your Scorpio AC. Maybe your mars too. mockingbirdAre things in the 12th really hidden-hidden, though? It seems like they can be more hidden/unconscious.Like, my husband has his Mars and Venus in Aries conj in the 12th.They can be *very* apparent when he's not necessarily thinking about being assertive/Arien or when he's acting on "auto drive", but they seem to pop back out of view when he tries to actively utilize the energy. In my case, I would buy my Scorp NN and Leo Mars conj my NN in the 10th playing a part.------------------If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device.
