Jessica2407 | And also how does Pluto-Neptune works in a talent triangle? |
Jessica2407 | bump. |
Doux Rêve | It's kinda difficult to picture without a visual but it looks like they could very well be! |
Jessica2407 | thank you Doux I read it's 2 sextiles with the planet at the apex and a trine with the 2 remaining planets; I wonder how is pluto's role in a talent triangle? do you know? |
Lioness | I have talent triangles with Saturn/Uranus/sun,moon,merc Nt sure if that's considered as one or 3, cuz I have sun, moon, merc all conjunct.. I have zero talent... Lol |
peachbeigeblue | what are talent triangles? pretty sure i don't have any though so a grand trine? or a trine with two sextiles?
any significance when when they're in composites? |

A traditional grand trine is made up of 3 trines while a talent triangle has 2 sextiles and 1 trine. A minor grand trine, would probably indicate something the person is good at doing. It doesn't necessarily has to be some sort of extraordinary talent or it could well be. With the 2 sextiles, I think the person has to search for his/her ''talent'' OR it could be that the person takes for granted for the things that they are good at. I don't know am just guessing |
Jessica2407 | I found this : http://www.angelfire.com/journal/asainc/MAJCON.htm ''The key words, based on the above information, defining a "MINOR GRAND TRINE" are :"PRACTICAL MYSTICISM"'' ''The pattern formed by the "minor grand trine" can be identified with a boat or the roof of a house. It tends to provide the individual with a deep curiosity about the mysteries of life and a thorough understanding of belief systems that are different from their own. The opportunities offered by the sextiles and the fulfilment promised by the trine can make this individual a practical seeker of
hidden treasures, being these treasures represented by the character of the pilot planet.'' Now it's starting to make sense to me. I can relate totally! I believe the pilot planets for me are neptune and pluto. |
T | What the frick is a talent triangle? Man, the **** they come up with these days... Do you mean a Grand Trine? I can't even look... |
Violets | Hey, that's nifty! I had never heard of this before, but I've noticed it in people's charts. When I looked at my chart (I have some very challenging aspects with cardinal placements, lucky me, but have also been blessed with a grand trine) I noticed that I have the smaller trine. It totally fits, too. I have been writing since I was able to do so, and it was my absolute passion for many years. This is indicated in the smaller trine, with the focal planet being Neptune, and the sextile planets being Mercury and Pluto. I felt *compelled* to write for so many years, wrote for the school paper, etc. I still feel compelled to write, but became overly critical of myself for a while. I've been thinking about going back to it. Interesting thread, thanks for the info! |
Violets | Weird, I apparently bypassed the fact that our small trines are with the same planets! Do you write?
|

Yeah. There are minor trines with the same combos with my planets in the 7th house, saturn, venus and mercury. I have all of them conjunct in my 7th house. I used to write, then started again recently. |

Yeah well, google is your friend. |
Gemmy | I have this in my chart.Pluto sextile Neptune,Neptune sextile Mars,Pluto trine Pisces Mars.Neptune is the apex planet. I don't think it works in my favor.I tend to live in my head a lot. |

And how does Mars trine pluto work for you?
|
Gemmy | When I get angry,I think about beating the crap out of that person.I haven't been pushed far enough to do it.I think it's all my mutable placements and Saturn aspects not letting me show emotion. So other aspects in my chart overpower this one. |

maybe your trine helps you in some way. (Neptune) You LIVE the scenarios in your head a lot.Of course you saturn must also help you ground your feelings. But do they fester into resentments?May be that's how your trine helps? |
Gemmy | They do fester into resentment. Actually the only people I think about hurting are the ones who have continuously hurt me and p*ssed me off. But my Mars squares all my personal planets so this could explain why. |
Lioness | @ Jessica Yes, here is my chart.. Not sure if its considered as 1 triangle, or 3.. I think my stellium is the apex, but not sure. But I have yet to find any talents, go figure If you include Chiron, it's a bowl pattern (I think that's what it's called)
