hannaramaa | I have Mercury (11H) square Saturn and Neptune (in Capricorn) in the 7H. One, I don't understand why Mercury wouldn't be square Uranus as well since Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are all conjunct each other; two, would this square influence my communications with others in a bigger way than just my own problems communicating and processing information that the square brings? |
Jessica2407 | Do you feel the effects of mercury sq uranus? I would say yes to your second question. |
Doux Rêve | It's a matter of orbs! If Mercury and Uranus aren't square it's because they're too far away from each other to make a square aspect. Communication problems in friendships and romantic relationships could be an issue. |
hannaramaa | So, Mercury is at 21.16 degrees in the 11H, and Saturn is at 13.44 degrees, Neptune at 12.22 degrees, and Uranus at 5.20 degrees. I'm terrible with figuring out orbs (that should be my next astrological goal to accomplish) but I guess 7 degrees difference between that and Saturn/Neptune would explain the non-existant square. As a side question, if Uranus is sitting at 5.20 degrees and my DSC is in Sagittarius at 23.46 degrees, would Uranus have more influence on my DSC at all because it's closer? |
Doux Rêve | Hanna, Do you use astro.com? You can see all your aspects on the grid there. Very simple and accurate. Your Mercury squares seem to be on the wide side.. I'm not sure you can even feel them? I didn't get your last question, sorry. |
hannaramaa | Oh I've used astro.com for a long time but I was looking also for others' experiences. My last question, what I meant was even though Uranus is not conjunct my DSC, but it is the closest planet TO my DSC - would there be any kind of Uranus affect on my DSC moreso than the other planets. |
Doux Rêve | I guess it would be a bit more prominent than the others planets because it's closer to the cusp but it probably won't make that much of a difference - all planets in the 7th will have an effect. |
