meissieri | Hello everyone. I've been thinking about this for a while. How do squares to this axis affect you? Do they give you traits of the sign? Like if you have Saturn squaring you Ascendant, would it be as if having Capricorn Rising and/or Saturn in the 7th? Any experiences with squares you'd like to share? Would love to hear it. |
IrisRainbow | I have Pluto in 4H square Moon in 7H but I never found any information about it.I wonder the same as you, though. |
KarkaQueen | ha I have Saturn sq Capricorn ASC |
peachbeigeblue | My sun squares my AC. Leo Sun 12.32 Scorpio ascendant 12.31 I think it definitely produces a drastic difference between how I come off versus how I am with people I'm close/comfortable with. I also have Moon opposite ASC (Taurus 12.11) I don't think having my Sun squaring my ASC makes me more like a Leo Rising. Although I am tall, and I am proud. But it's most assuredly the distant, intense, Scorpio at first impression. I don't think I look like a classic Scorp rising though. |
Kerosene | I have jupiter square gem asc. not really My asc is smack dab in the middle of a stellium so poor jupiter hardly has a chance to make me jolly or jovial. |
somethingexcellent | I have Jupiter and Pluto squares...never really tried seeing the effects of them square DC though! |
Doux Rêve | The planet that squares the ASC / DSC axis indicates the type of issues you'll have to deal with in your close relationships or business partnerships - the aspects of said planet will point to possible areas of tension that could affect your associations with other people. The conflicts don't have to be instigated by you, could be that you attract people who play them out for you. |
meissieri | So it doesn't affect everyone, like with a stellium... quote: Originally posted by peachbeigeblue: My sun squares my AC. Wow, that's one tight aspect! Power's a big deal... So I guess it does give you some traits of that sign, but not completely. There goes my theory, haha. quote: Originally posted by Doux Rêve: The planet that squares the ASC / DSC axis indicates the type of issues you'll have to deal with in your close relationships or business partnerships - the aspects of said planet will point to possible areas of tension that could affect your associations with other people. Very helpful. That'd mean a lot of ways that square shows up in your life. Would it be mostly the harsh aspects to that planet? Maybe the easy ones can give you an easier way to work with them. I have six squares and no good aspects to this axis. They're blurring into one pretty much. |
Doux Rêve | Yes, hard aspects are of course more difficult to deal with. With flowing aspects the basic conflict will still be present (planet square the ASC / DSC axis), though easier to solve. |
MillyX | I have Jupiter Square my ascendant. I don't really feel it. |
SilverFeather | My Sag Sun square my Virgo ASC and I noticed that to strangers, I come off Virgo-y but to close friends/family, I'm 100% Sagittarian. |
themischievousone | I have venus square my asc exact. I don't notice it or feel it but some people guessing my sign will guess me as a libra (the sign venus is in). I'm thinking that squares may be more seen by other people. |
eyes_like_pisces | My bf has a sag Neptune conj his IC. Neptune is oddly enough his DC ruler at 29 deg. (conj vertex) Any ideas? |
