T O P I C R E V I E Wbabybull82Anybody have any in depth experience with them? A little background me and this guy have been friends for 10 yrs or so. I've always been the consistent and stable friend and after sometime 2 or 3 yrs ago the connection has been constant. Anyway, he is currently living with me after just moving back up here from California. For the most part me and him mesh really well as far as being housemates go. The last few weeks, it's like we've been getting to know each other all over again and I felt like the vibe between us was "different". After a while I'd notice that we'd have lingering eye contact after talking to each other. I could see that he was feeling more comfortable living here. I don't know I guess my gut was telling me that maybe we were starting to like each other as more than just friends.Well fast forward to a few days ago and my friend went to the bar and had a few drinks. Then came home with some beers and we just hung out. While I was tipsy I wasn't super drunk..he on the other hand I guess was pretty far gone. Anyway long story shortened, we ended up kissing quite a bit and he told me that he liked me. It had basically confirmed what I (thought)I had been feeling.Well after it happened we've been physically closer..like cuddling and stuff you wouldn't do with a platonic friend. Today I decided that I wanted to talk about what happened just to see where we'd go from here. And to my surprise I was met with " I don't remember what happen because I black out when I'm drunk and to please chalk up anything that's happened to intoxication, we're friends." Uh what?! Needless to say that response caught me off guard..but to say that I didn't have an inkling of a feeling that he was just playing with me would be lying. According to him he says he's not messing with me and he had no intentions of doing that and the kiss and confession should have never happened. While I know situations like this can happen with any zodiac sign, I was just wondering if doing things in a drunken stupor is common for this combo. He also has Scorpio in Venus if that means anything. Thanks for any insight you may have. hikoroi think you got your hopes up (is that the expression?)i have a similar combo to his and that is not something we would lie about, i mean, lie about feelings like that...imo, esp. with that scorpio venus.as to the cuddling, my pisces moon men are very affectionate... folks would think we are dating but that is not the case...a lesson on taking drunk people's words at face value...honestly, it is not as strange as you make it, it happens a lot when people drink, from confessing untrue stuff to embarrassing themselves...of course, there are instances where folks become honest after a couple of drinks but in this case...hmmm....if he said he doesnt remember and you are just friends, he is being honest. now, maybe he partially remembers, but, he doesnt like you that way, it was the alcohol talking and, he is embarrassed and/or wants to leave the past in the past.....instead of complicating things.had he kissed you again...while sober..or pursued you, i'd think differently...babybull82 quote:Originally posted by hikoro:i think you got your hopes up (is that the expression?)i have a similar combo to his and that is not something we would lie about, i mean, lie about feelings like that...imo, esp. with that scorpio venus.as to the cuddling, my pisces moon men are very affectionate... folks would think we are dating but that is not the case...a lesson on taking drunk people's words at face value...honestly, it is not as strange as you make it, it happens a lot when people drink, from confessing untrue stuff to embarrassing themselves...of course, there are instances were folks become honest after a couple of drinks but in this case...hmmm....if he said he doesnt remember and you are just friends, he is being honest. Well thanks for your honesty. But to be honest I kind of feel like he does remember and just doesn't want to own up to making a mistake. The only reason why I feel this way is because of the cuddling after he was already sober the next day. In all of the time we've been friends, we never crossed that boundary and I just find it interesting that after kissing me that boundary has been crossed and we were still doing so after sobering up. But I get it, thanks again. lalalindaHello babybull82!
