LuckyStar | Does anyone have planets conjuncting the great attractor 14 degree Sag. I have Venus there and wonder how it has played out for others so I can understand it better. |
Lilith Rising | I have Jupiter - 13'22 Sagitarius. I wonder what is the orb for a conjunction since it is a fix point? Jupiter is in my 10th house and it is the only planet in domicile in my chart. Besides that, I have 5 planets in the 9th what makes Sagitarius the dominant sign in my chart. I can already feel Jupiter very present in my chart and life so I am not sure if I feel the possible conjunction to the GA. But I am also interested to know what is the meaning of planets in this point. |
LoVeLy | Would IC at 14 sag and Mars at 15 Sag mean anything? |
LuckyStar | I am not sure, the great attractor a kind of hole in space that pulls in. I found the folowing from another post. "It can feel hotly polarized. People with a prominent Great Attractor in their charts will cultivate strong feelings in others, and can often be the subject of contention or controversy. They have the ability to make unusually close friends with equally formidable enemies. There is a potency characterized by this point that holds two extremes and presents them with lots of fodder for spiritual growth." I hope others will tell of their experience and if there is other info specific to the planet that conjuncts that point. Since it's my Venus and it's in the first house I am very curious. Plus I know a man who's Mars is directly opposite my Venus being the great attractor will he find me irresistable? |

This is the only piece of info I can find. Do oppositions count to ? OP: maybe you're lucky in terms of attracting love ? That was just a wild guess

hannaramaa | I have Sun and Venus trine GA, and Mars in opposition to it. It's in my 6th house. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/018991.html I think this is why everyone I meet feels I'm "destined" for something important. |
Kerosene | astro.com gives me sun opposite great attractor but I think it's too wide... Anyways I know some gems that have sun 15 degrees. They're incredibly interesting. If the sun was in gemini 15 degrees the earth was in sag 15 degrees... Wait astro.com says it's 13 degrees hmm.. This is very close to my sun heh!! |
m.blade | Conjunct POF which is at 16 degrees GA is 13'57 sag |

What is this? I have never heard of it before. Uranus for me would conjunct it. Moon opposes it exact (or less than 1 degree depending on the min. lol). |
Astro keen | Great attractor or GA (this is how it is referred to on posts on LL - you can find numerous via the LL search engine) seems to denote past life links or links with other stars too. The GA, GC (galactic centre) and SGC (super galactic centre), all points on your chart, feature prominently in identifiying starseeds - people with previous lives on other planets. Again a search on LL will reveal lots of interesting stuff. I have Isis, Osiris, Sekhmet and Apollo at GA. It also trines my Asc. iQ said that this is proof of an ancient Egyptian life time where I acquired occult knowledge. This is further indicated by Kleopatra conjunct Saturn. |
LionFish | It conjuncts my Vertex @ 13'20 Sag and my Juno @ 15'30 Sag.. No clue what it could mean though. |
StarlightSmileSupreme | Mars is sorta close to 14 degrees Sag. How many degrees are allowed? Mars is at 19. |
Ami Anne | I know someone with his Sun there. He is super attractive lol ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

On astro.com you will find at the very end a list of asteroids and fixed stars. ~open the list fixed stars ~scroll down/search for the Great Attractor. ~found it? |
YellowGerbera | whoa this is an old thread! My ASc is @15Sag, POF @16Sag, Uranus @17Sag. I'm not attractive! |

My Sun/Moon midpoint is 14 Sag. I always forget about it, but it makes some kind of sense sometimes. The quote resonates with me. I do generate controversy but generally since it's the midpoint of essential unity blending and comfort, resonance, I tend to be able to make peace even between seriously conflicting viewpoints... My daughter's father's Ascendant is 14 Sag, and my current partner's descendant is there. They are both extremely enigmatic, polarizing individuals who leave nobody they come into contact with feeling neutral, really... they're both like wild animals more than humans, in a way... beautiful and rare... |

This may sound dumb, but what is the "great attractor?" My ASC is at 14 degree exact in Sagittarius...So it is conjunct my ASC. |

My Sun is at 14 degrees Sagittarius conjuncting my Venus which is a few degrees ahead. They are both in the 5th house and they both trine my Jupiter in Leo. Let's just say I have never had problems attracting men.

MoonMystic | Bennu 1' .15 conj, Wanambi 1' .30 conj (in comparison) my AC and Sekhmet +Horus (.02) are 0 conj it. In Egyptian Astro Sekhmet is my Ascending. |
Long - standing | I have mars conj.great attractor, but being Aries I am polarized by myself..interesting,but my wedding day was when mars was at the point of GA though I didn't plan |
