FireMoon | I don't have a lot of experience with Libras irl, but I recently met and am pretty into this guy who has a lot of Libra in his chart (sun, moon, venus, mercury). I know Libras are polite, like to keep things politically correct and fair, etc, but it just got me thinking no one can be that collected and charming all the time right?? Does Libra become less censored when not in public or past the first impressions stage? I'm the same way when first meeting someone, but feel like eventually my Sag/Aqua planets will do or say something that his refined sense of humor won't appreciate lol |
Kerosene | LOL..... That's a lot of Libra.. Well on the bright side he probably has a good taste so you could take him shopping.. |
FireMoon | Haha he does have great taste! He gave me a tour of his apartment (long story, it was a first date though so we kept things innocent) but yeah if nothing else I feel like I should recruit him as my personal decorator lol |
Kerosene | Libran men are not so bad, pretty lazy.. So I don't know how he could stimulate you adventurous sag nature, you will probably find him boring after awhile What is his mars doing?
|
FireMoon | He's a Virgo mars square Sag Uranus (his Uranus widely conjuncts my Mercury though so I suppose that helps) Also his Mars trines my Sun and sextiles my Pluto almost exact.. So there is definitely attraction, just not sure if it will be long lasting... edit: and he's an Aries NN trine my moon, sextile my venus. So if anything I think I would need to help bring the adventurous/assertiveness out of him.. I see that potential in him though, he's 26 and I'm 22 so I feel like he should be mature enough to handle it at this point lol |

In my experiences, yes. But often they wait until you give hints that it's ok for them to be crass especially if they're low in fire. |
FireMoon | ^^Good to know, thanks for your response

PixieJane | I know 2 other Libras beside myself who loved the South Park movie (and one was on the Virgo cusp). That's not to say we appreciated the toilet humor but it was okay with the deeper aspects of it (witty statements on society), clever songs (like Blame Canada), and at least for me (my Sag influences) the "that's so very wrong as to become hilarious." The point being that at least we could overlook it if there were other aspects we found enjoyable. Also, Libra learns bitter lessons about how in trying to be fair one becomes hated by everybody as everybody assumes you're taking a side against them and/or they take even the most polite challenge to their opinions as a personal attack. I think this is the biggest reason why they become so "politically correct" and when they see you're a big girl or boy then they'll offer opposing viewpoints not only to be fair but for the mental exercise (you can even see a Libra "change sides" in an argument without missing a beat because they're weighing the opposing viewpoints on their mental scales but this confuses the hell out of a lot of people and some see it as just arguing to be obnoxious). Unless they have a lot of fire (like me) then you should feel honored if they show that side to you because they'll show you their private parts on their body before their private thoughts (I actually restrain myself around neighbors, people I do business with, and mere acquaintances than many here might think, only those who are closest to me get the uncensored newsletter). |
12muddy | Good luck with this Libra guy, Firemoon. From what I've seen, they want and do try to stay collected and charming. "Ugly" emotions aren't very welcomed. They throw them off balance and a libra who feels unbalanced is often an unhappy one. I know it sounds cliche, but my s.o said the same words lol. He dislikes getting angry and he only has sun in libra. His libra friends share that similar trait. With multiple libra placements. I'd think that your guy would have a more intense desire to stay calm, cool and pleasant. |
next to neptune | Those with water influence can be really sweet and creative, those with fire can be more passionate and adventurous, also if it's just a singleton, look in his natal chart for aspect between sun and jupiter/mars/uranus - the more outgoing planets If they lack fire and water, I think libra men can be really dry, conservative and well....a bit snobby even

starmoon | i'm a libra female - 7 planets in libra. the charm is always there, yes. our charming ways are often insincere though because it's being done for some other purpose, like getting exactly what we want. as a libra I don't get told no very often |

Sort of. You have to be the one to initiate the opinion talks hahaha! They are opinionated, but you have to broach them about it, sometimes even guess correctly before they will say something that may be met with opposition. |
Barbiegirl19 | Coming from a Libra with Libra ruling my chart I have a quite a few libra male friends, uncles and cousins and the last thing they are is lazy. They do get in their mood where they just wanna stay home but their are definitely not lazy. They're the most fun when their with a group of people or even just a few people. They're very charming and very smart. It's like all of us Libras know a little about everything literally lol. They're respectful and yes the charm is real. Eventually the sailor talk does come out lol I know I have a pretty bad mouth when at home* keyword. I think Sags and Libras go perfectly well together. We Librans like adventure and love people on top of everything else so it's a pretty perfect match to me. Good luck with Prince Charming he sounds like he's a sweetheart |
