astrolog | Who feels it more house or planet person and how does it play out for both parties? Do share your experiences if any! |
starmoon | my experience.... i would always say that the house person is the one affected by placements EXCEPT with a 1st house, and especially a first house with a venus contact. the reason, imo, is that venus is (usually) conjunct or very close to the other person's ASC and that will just have the venus person going crazy for the ASC person. the ASC person will receive all that energy from venus but not necessarily give it back, because angles are only receptive. as a woman, i wouldn't mind a guy's venus in my first house, but i never want mine there again for a guy - it's like worshipping a man and bringing your personal man-god to life - pure perfection, but usually all looks-based. i want to be worshipped instead, lol |

I agree with that. It also seems to matter, if it is a receptive planet in 1st house (like Venus or Moon). |
astrolog | Thanks for the answers guys but what if venus is far from the ascendant? Does it still apply? |
astrolog | An example of venus/mars first house synastry. The planets are pretty far from the ascendant so can you say the house person feels it more? |

12thhouser | I'm wondering how it would play out when someone's Venus is in your 1st, but in a sign you've got intercepted in the 1st. I have Aries intercepted in my first, so I'm curious about people's feedback about about what that might be like. |
AnastasiyaEnchanted | I think you should also interpret venus as in the second house because it conjuncts the cusp of the second house. |
astrolog | So in this case who feels it more? The planet person or house person as the planets are far from asc point? Thank you for your answers |
cassisdenuit | I am interested to know about this also, Venus in the 1st but far from the ascendant and on the next sign. |
Belage | I have this aspect (Venus conjunct ASC) both ways with my SO. It was love at first sight, and it has not faded away. I see my SO as incredibly handsome. And Im sure the feeling is mutual since its a double whammy. Even when it is not a double whammy, it is still a wonderful aspect to have, though each party would feel it differently. The Venus person would be doing more of the loving, but this is not an unrequited kind of loving. The ASC person would feel and enjoy the loving presence of the Venus person and actually become more attractive when in the presence of the Venus person. In a way, the Venus person could make the ASC person LOOK GOOD, and this can be a very addictive feeling for the ASC person. This aspect also shows great compatibility, since the 2 people will find they love and appreciate many of the same things. |
