fauxcoat | If I have Mercury in Virgo at 27 degrees and Vertex in Virgo, does this provide me with a decent enough amount of earth influence in my chart? That is all the earth influence I have except for Taurus SN, but I am in my late 30's so it probably doesn't have as much of an influence any longer. |
Doux Rêve | If Mercury is your only Earth planet, then it's a singleton, which makes it quite strong, by sign, element and energy, basically. Do you find yourself over-thinking, analyzing things a lot, having a restless, worried mind? What house is Mercury in? Are the matters of that house very important to you? |
fauxcoat | It is in the 8th house. Yes, I think a LOT about 8th house issues. |
fauxcoat | Would this Mercury in Virgo give me an earthy vibe? |
Doux Rêve | That makes a lot of sense. Yes, I think it would give you an earthy vibe, but it's a Mercurial vibe, and a bit "muddy" as well because of the 8H influence, which makes it more emotional and deeper than "simple" earth (like say, Venus in Taurus in the 6H which would be extra earthy).
|
Mystic_Cat | You're nearly an Earth void, so no. You have a small amount of Earth in your chart, Mercury is strong by it's self, though. South Node doesn't just dissapear, it is your body's node, your body is ruled by Taurus. |
fauxcoat | Well, I do have a 8th house stellium (6 planets in the 8th house - 5 Libra planets and 1 Virgo planet). Virgo is on the cusp of the 8th house. Does that add any earthiness? |
Doux Rêve | Nah I wouldn't say you're too earthy. Definitely more Air/Water. |
Kerosene | LOL you can have all my outer planet earth... Jupiter, Uranus, neptune, and NN are in earth signs.. lol I'd rather have outer planets in water or fire signs. |
fauxcoat | Why Earth is so much better. More stable, seductive. |
Kerosene | I find earth dominant people to be too vanilla for my taste.. |
Doux Rêve | faux, Have you looked at your transits? Sounds like something in the sky is affecting your natal chart. |
fauxcoat | Are any of your other planets in water signs? If so, then you have a good mix of water and earth. That to me is the best combination. |
fauxcoat | What kind of transits should I be looking for? Pluto is now in 12th. NN is now hitting my Libra packed 8th house. Uranus is transiting 2nd house. Jupiter is in 6th. Sun is in almost in 2nd house. Saturn is in 9th, almost in 10th house. Would any of these be something causing problems? |
DeepFreeze | Have you looked at your pullen chart? Mine says I'm very even with all elements because of the house placements. To just look at my Natal chart, Uranus is my only water placement. |
Doux Rêve | Pluto in the 12th house, they say it's a tough one (feeling isolated or cut off from others). Saturn in the 9th house could be making you more depressed than usual as well because you might be losing (Saturn) faith (9H).Post your natal chart with transits in a new thread in Personal Readings, if you want. I can take a look (but not now cause it's late here and I'm about to go to sleep). I think there's more to it than just planets in houses. Sounds like a planet or point is affected in your case. |
fauxcoat | Ok, I will do that. I'll call it Earth Influence Chart. I am kind of down about not having a lot of earth influence. I feel like I lost a lot of my earth when I hit my second Nodal return (Scorp NN/Taurus SN - even though they say SN doesn't go away, I feel like it did). |
