T O P I C R E V I E WBrobianI just learned that I was born while Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto were in retrograde. Uranus was retrograde house I in Scorpio, Neptune was retrograde house 2 in Sagittarius, and Pluto was retrograde house XI in Libra. Does retrograde planets have additional effects on the natal birth chart?lifefullofwordsInner planets being retrograde is much more important than having outer planets Rx. The outer planets aren't personal and they're retrograde about half of the time IIRC. But I've heard the more planets a person has Rx the more likely they are to be an introvert.SDragonYou have the same configuration of signs as me, though the houses are different. Not sure about introverted, but definitely introspective. The archetypes of each planet will weigh more heavily on each sign and house and make the experience a very private matter.pocaloca quote:Originally posted by lifefullofwords:Inner planets being retrograde is much more important than having outer planets Rx. I don't totally buy the theory either TBH, it's just something I've heard. I think sign placement (esp. the ASC) as well as house placements are the best indicators of how introverted a person is.fishbull11I've read about 2/3rds of us fall into the 2-3 retrograde planet category. I have 3 myself and a driven person which is common with 3 retrogrades but also common with Leo risers. The none to one are the ones based on readings that are more introvert, with 0 being the shut-in ivy growing over the door type..but all from reading not from experience. Venus is the least retro with mars being second, both challenging placements and repressed energy but on the flipside can become strong even more strong than someone without Rx in the same sign. My ex was venus retrograde and the repressed energy was very much evident.ComatoesRetrograde planets make you more intuned to the planets energy, you use the energy more inwardly and may have a hard time getting the energy out and in the open. A retrograde planet is actually a strong planet because it becomes more of who you are, the inner self. Maybe it's the energy you try to hide from others, but the planet in retrograde churns inside, waiting for an outlet.ScorpieScorp quote:Originally posted by fishbull11:I've read about 2/3rds of us fall into the 2-3 retrograde planet category.
