T O P I C R E V I E WSandra018hi guysi was wondering what does it mean when all the natural houses are reversed in a chart..have you ever seen a chart like that? and your thoughts on what kind of impact it has on the individual with this chart.thank you in advanceSandraDoux RêveYou mean the person has a Libra ASC?No big deal. Usually means they're focused on others rather then themselves (1st house placements can make them more self-absorbed thou).RandallThanks, Doux. As a libra AC your challenge is to learn balance, so your given the qualities of each sign but it falls in a house that focuses it's energy in the oppositions sign, so again it's a balance you must learn, to me, it's very fitting for libra to be given this as part of it's Ac challenge. All cancer and cap AC's must deal with squares on all their angles, I've thought about this before and wondered what special challenge this brings them, I mean the libra/opposition/balance is very fitting do how does the square fit with cap/cancer ....I've wondered if it has something to do with the extra pressure and stress of being the parental signs and in the parental role you carry extra buried end and stress in the way you appear to your children your life is not just yours you must realize you have little eyes watching you, learning and mimicking what they see...that is extra stress when your playing the mom n dad role in life.Doux RêveOh, you're welcome, Randall. -Gabby, I like your explanation. The act of balancing things out definitely rings true (very Libran indeed).Sandra018 quote:Originally posted by Gabby: Your talking about when all your houses are in the sign that is the natural house opppsition, correct?Libra rising is the only ascendant that has this...I think it's very fitting that this happens because libra is the sign of the scales. Learn to love your enemies" lvASTROI have a reversed natal house, much like Gabby (Libra ascendant), with every house ruled by opposition. Even more, my NN is in Pisces, in the 6H of Virgo! I almost feel like it's having a NN in every house. Learning to balance each house's associations and not waver towards a lack, nor excess. It's not easy, but I feel the native can grow from every house experience, tenfold. I like the image of the libra's scales. Great motif for this Venusian coloring of the natal chart! TempuraNostrilI don't think it holds any extra curricular meaning necessarily. Having Libra on your ascendant doesn't necessarily constitute having Scorpio on the cusp of your second house or Capricorn in the cusp of the fourth. It would be similar to asking what does it mean having Sagittarius on the cusp of the third house. When in the very same chart Scorpio is on the cusp of the first as well as the second.Signs give your houses colour. I think more importance should be placed on the planetary ruler the sign on the cusp is indicating.Having Libra on the first, for example. Where is Venus? Oh, it's in the second house. What does this mean? The first house signals the emergence and awareness of the self through self discovery. Libra is on the ascendant though. The native will have a natural inclination to pursue this self discovery via the means of it's relationships with others. How though? What sort of relationships with others? What sort of experiences through the native's relationships with others will be necessary to achieve this process of self discovery? Experiences pertaining to the second house. But wait. This is the diurnal side of Venus, in the house that is archetypically linked with the nocturnal side of Venus - Taurus. How might this work? The necessary experiences the native will be attracted to within its relationships to achieve self discovery will actually centre around the native's relationship with itself. It will use its relationships with others as means to establish its sense of self worth, self esteem. By using others as a means of comparison and contrast, and seeing how others relate to themselves, the soul will discover an otherwise undiscovered aspect of itself revolving around second house issues.Gabby quote:Originally posted by lvASTRO:I have a reversed natal house, much like Gabby (Libra ascendant), with every house ruled by opposition. It's like, "what do I do....go towards my house ruler/SN or my sign/NN?" Honestly though the SN is in your NN sign's house....so it's just more of the libra curse, to find the balance.Deepfreeze n I have a scorp NN in 2nd, we have talked about it and its special challenges before, sounds like you can relate.I think all of us libra AC's, unless their house system is peculiar, can relate. I don't know why but it seems water NN's have a special path, an emotional path to learn.....it's not the easiest because emotions make you so vulnerable at the sane time emotions are so changeable, add that to our libra rising/house system balancing act, it's a real struggle to understand what path it is exactly we need to take.Gabby quote:Originally posted by Sandra018: thanks Gaby!!i will relay- its for my aunt and she doesn't speak english.thank you once againHappy to help!
