unforgiven_soul | I'm really curious if you can spot a parent's death in a natal chart. Not for the future (progressions), but for the past. Like if someone lost a parent when he was a kid or in his teens. |
athenegoddess | Solar Arc Sun square Pluto. I know someone and this happened to him when he was six and his dad died... He also said he saw his spirit come out of his body.. so it was a profound experience for him. Sun is in scorpio and Pluto in Leo. |
anonymidarkness | I know 3 people who lost their father during childhood. They have Moon quincunx Pluto in common. One of them also has Saturn in 12th which is supposed to indicate an absent father. |
yellowelevator | My half-brother and I both have Saturn in the 8th and we both lost our fathers at a young age. He was a year old, and I was about 13, or almost 13. Mine was already out of my life before then though. I think I have read about Saturn in the 8th possibly indicating death of father, but really there are different indicators I've heard so I really don't know. |
Tofu addict | I know of 2 people with Moon in 8th house, their mothers died before they were 5 years old |
ReeseC | This topic is very interesting to me because I found out 2 years ago that my father was not real father. My real father was murdered in front of his home 3 months before I was born....shot in the back of the head(sorry if graphic) in Chicago. My 12th house is Leo, and my Sun is conjunct MC exact on Aldebaran exact but the killer is(pun not intended), not only did JFK get shot in the head, and Marilyn Monroe suffer blunt force trauma to head and chest......9° Gemini is a supposed degree of homocide. I would make check those degrees in which represent homicide, Ill health, etc. |
theunknown | Saturn in 12th Moon in 12th |

I have an 8H Pisces moon ruling the 12H where Saturn is; my mom died when I was 14. ETA: And my dad died during my first Saturn return. |
DeepFreeze | Well, certainly there would have to be much more to it, right? I mean wouldn't the parent's chart also have to align with this? It would be interesting to see if the child's chart and parent's chart both indicated it. Progression and transit.

In my case, yes. When my father died: His progressed sun: 14 Cap My natal sun: 15 Cap Transiting sun: 16 Cap His Progressed Pluto: 16 Cancer His pr NN: 18 Gemini My natal Mars: 16 Gemini Tr NN: 17 Pisces My moon: 18 Pisces ^^ Interestingly my mother also died when the transiting nodal axis was tightly square her progressed nodal axis: Tr NN: 29 Cap Her pr NN: 29 Libra -squaring- Her natal Ceres-Pluto 1 Leo My natal Saturn 0 Leo Also when she died, tr sun was conjunct my Neptune, tr Neptune conjunct my sun (tr Neptune square her pr sun.) Tr Pluto on my NN. |
themischievousone | Pluto in the fourth can also be an indicator (or so I've read). What is interesting is I have the placement and so does my brother. My sister (who was too young) has an unaspected Sun and Saturn in the 12th. Our dad passed when we were young. |
IV XXIV | I lost my mother almost 7 months ago, I was 20 at the time. I have a 12th house stellium in Aries (Mercury, Venus, Ceres, Lilith) and (spilling over into) Taurus (Sun). I don't have any of the above placements.. Moon in the 1st, Saturn in the 11th, Pluto in the 7th.. But the day my mom passed away, Pluto was transiting my 4th house. I don't know her TOB so I don't know her transits for that day. |
