T O P I C R E V I E WLaFataleI have uranus, neptune and saturn all in my 4th house. I also have a moon in cancer. Would this explain my dysfunctional upbringing and the tremendous effect it's had on me? (Given that I'm a super sensitive moon in cancer). I moved around a ton and my parents were both very neglectful, abusive, and detached. I'm 27 now, but I still feel it's effects and cannot seem to shake the memories. I feel if my moon was in a less sensitive sign, it wouldn't have affected me as muchBarbiegirl19It very well can, sorry to hear that. I have Saturn in the 4th as well and relate. It's a difficult aspect.I have Cancer Mars, when people I care for deeply, like family for example and they hurt me deeply, betray me I don't let it go. It's just what Cancer does unfortunately, of course not always. Unnecessary fights and things of that nature I'm able to move on from very quickly. It's just the emotional, deeper stuff that is haunting. http://dkfoundation.co.uk/dkfoundation/BookKarmaHouse4.htm fairaquaSaturn is a teacher. He's in my 4th house. I lived in the same home for 14 years, then boom, my life exploded. My moon is damage, Aries 8th house, and my mom became a full blown alcoholic. My parents divorced and in the next 5 years I moved around 10x and had a baby very young.I finally settled in the house I am in now about 9 years ago.The sun represents the father. My sun is in the 5th house of Capricorn with friendly murcury. My father has always been a supportive structure in my life. He was always very tuff and he let me fail many times in life, but knew they were lessons I had to learn on my own. He is very military like in his raising, which I was and still am happy about.Saturn in the 4th house isn't easy, but it's definitely not the worst. Look at your other supporting planets and see what Saturn is trying to teach you in this life. It doesn't make the journey too much simpler, but the pill is a little easier to swallow. nove731LaFatale, I have almost the exact same set-up, except my Moon is in Sag, and I feel for you. It's a rough one to have. I moved more or less every year when I was a kid, and never really formed any close friendships or family bonds. Personally, my parents oscillated between never being around and too caught up in their own problems to being incredibly judgmental and dismissive of my feelings.I, too, struggle to move past my childhood, and the older I get the more "real" it gets. Although I hesitate to pin this on astrology, I will say that sadly, I don't think that having the Moon in a "less sensitive sign" would have helped much. The 4th House is your core - rough stuff going on there is going to get you eventually no matter where your Moon is.------------------Sun -> AriesMoon -> SagittariusAscendant -> Virgo
