Ami Anne | Cancer Moon The gods gifted the Cancer Moon. She will have empathy in overflowing doses. This is a wonderful attribute because empathy is REALLY what makes us human. Cancer Moons are loyal to a fault, if loyalty can be a fault and I don’t think it can. Of course, this is said by a Cancer Moon. Cancer Moon is the stuff of which old fashioned values were constructed. These current times are so “plastic banana and rock and roll” that one must look long and hard to find a trace of authenticity. One need look no further than a Cancer Moon. She embodies the endearing attributes of the ages: loyalty, devotion, and love of family and friends. The Cancer Moon is very intuitive, with a manner of intuition which can be called gut intuition. The Cancer Moon may have stomach issues because her stomach is “oh so sensitive” The Cancer Moon native is kind. She understands pain and she does not want to inflict it on others. She is rarely a bully. One of her most positive traits is the lengths to which she will go if someone hurts a loved one. She will race out, beak leading and peck the offender to death( or close) If it is not death, she will leave enough bruises to make the offender not want to tangle with her again. Cancer is a cardinal sign. For all her tears and sensitivity, if one hurts a member of her nest, she will have a metamorphosis into a creature one would not want to meet in a dark alley. She chooses her nest carefully. One must show oneself worthy to be admitted. However, like all select clubs, one is privileged to belong. One will have a place to rest in this tumultuous world. One will have a place in which one belongs. There will, always, be a kind shoulder on which to cry and a warm cup of soup, which has been simmering on the stove all day. *Sigh* Not so shabby. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Aries23Degrees | Nice one I have found that when the Cancer Moon man/ woman allows itself to be loving, nurturing and kind. That is the natural instinct. And that is how these guys truly shine. The woman embrace this. But the men suppress it so much so that it comes off as moodiness, grouchiness and crabbiness etc. This could be because all the qualities mentioned i.e softness, vulnerability, sharing, nurturing etc. are "feminine". And with the patriarchal system that patronizes such traits, these men are often loathe to express that which comes from the natural flow of whom they are. Cancer Moon men should learn not to be afraid of how they feel. And let it flow. Masculinity is grossly distorted in society. And it often confuses men (especially those with water placements) on how they can be themselves without being considered as "weak" or "less masculine" etc.

Ami Anne | Thank you, Aries. Great point about the men lol ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Sagical | The moon in Cancer men were just different. I didn't see much nurturing. I knew this Pisces with a Cancer Moon and he was vindictive and cruel. He had a sister who he'd physically beat and the publically humiliate her to his friends. This sister is dead to him. Another Cancer moon man I knew was very clingy and wanted to be babied. He always needed somebody around him 24/7 and was smothering.

Robin Goodfellow | I'm a cancer moon and find this placement to be fairly amazing>Life is one heck of a flooding theatre of incredibly perceived nuances and experiences. Very subliminal, confounding and even enriching and even more infiltrating I believe. Things around me unfold all the time especially as I come across people and circumstances>Remarkably revealing and unfolding. These fluid perceptions don't overwhelm or tire me but do educate and inform to a very large degree. I do appreciate my moon> its just there though, at home. Very lucid in my perceptions, way of speech and interacting with others. Its rather difficult for me to narrowly isolate this cancerian expression since I'm a Gemini with a scorpio ascendant. |
Robin Goodfellow | I think I have Dependent Personality Disorder, I'm 37 years old and stay at home with my senior parents. I depend on them and my sister to cook for me. I don't know how to cook. I don't pay any bills or have a job. I have several girl friends and expect them to give me money>take care of me financially. I am on Medicaid and get disability money from the government. I have an EBT food card. I am not good at all with being an independent person and depend on my vices to get people to love and nurture and provide for me. I am extremely manipulative and very successful at it. |
Ami Anne | Thanks for being so honest Robin dear. I have many things that are very painful, too ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Cancer Moon in one sentence.
|
Sagical | I enjoyed Robin's to the point honesty and violet's quoting. A Gemini with a Cancer Moon is cool! My oldest daughter is one. So caring and wonderfully sensitive. The kind who stands up for others and believes in being fair. A protector of the underdog. A person who has a deep love of animals and has plenty of energy to pet dogs she meets on the walking paths here. A love of family that goes deep in her soul. A traditional view of what family should be. Ideal views. A deep respect for her family elders. Is empathetic and sensitive to the feelings of others. This is my Moon in Cancer tween. On another note, I know of a nice Scorpio with moon in Cancer man. He is very musical and intuitively knows what you're gonna say. I am an owner of a second/third house Cancer moon. Cooking wise, I'm like that little mouse in the movie Ratatouille. Can create masterpiece dishes from scratch and being showered with compliments from others. I'm humble. I hate blowing my horn. They have great powers of observation.....that works hand in hand with intuition. My Sun is in Aries. Not square with my moon at all. Highly independent and very resourceful. Though, I hate appearing vulnerable and usually let my inner circle in with how I'm feeling. Trust etc is to be earned. |
Ami Anne | Robin When you have to climb up from an abusive childhood, the climb is not easy. It is not pretty. The one thing that is good, if you can use the word good, is that you UNDERSTAND pain. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Interesting, as I was reading your comments I thought "Gemini," the way you talk about your moon. |

I don't know if this applies to this man, but Debbi Kempton-Smith said something like heaven help any woman involved with a Moon in Cancer man who had a rotten relationship with his mom. |

I'm an Aries/Cancer also! I love coming across others with the same combo. I co-sign and relate to all that you stated above.

I have that very exact book. I had forgotten about that little blurb. This man's relationship with his Mother is the best. Just the one with his sister was horrific. The parent's marriage was highly dysfunctional and riddled with lots of abuse from the father. When the parent's split, the son went to live with his father and had an extremely traumatizing life. The sister went with the mother and apparently had the best life, in this man's eyes. This man believed that it should have been his sister to live in hell. The brother used to beat her good and stole lot from her. Her very existence deeply angers him and wishes she was dead. Will not acknowledge her or anything. Right now he has guaranteed that he will be getting an inheritance and she won't. True, a Cancer moon man who has had a traumatizing childhood can be mean in the worst way. |

Debbi Kempton-Smith is very funny. The story between the brother and sister, sounds partly like me and my sister. My family split up when I was 6. My father and I came to America and my sister went with my mom back to China during the Cultural Revolution. It must have been very hard for them. Anyway, the man's going with the dad looks karmic, the son is blaming the sister and is obviously in a lot of pain. That's so sad. Hope they find healing and peace between them someday. Oh, I'm glad you mentioned - was it you? - the connection with Moon in Cancer and being a good cook! I'm a Cancer Moon so I know it's true. We like eating too! I wonder if people who cook professionally are either Sun, Moon, or Venus in Taurus or Cancer. |
Sagical | With the man and the sister, it's deeply skeptical that there will be any peace between those two. As I had mentioned in a different way there is extreme hostility this guy has for the sister. He wishes her dead and great ill will. This will not change and he will never accept her existence. So we just leave it at that and don't bring her up. On the other hand, I'm the professionally trained cook with moon in cancer straddling my second and third house cusp. I have no siblings. I was 'adopted' and now my mom, dad and uncle have gone to heaven. I have orphan status that matched will with Gemini rising. |

Orphan status is a correlation with Gemini rising? |
