wintersun | I've been wondering about the fact that only water signs can be "sensitives" . I really find it odd, because e.g " predominantly earthy people",although being human, they can't be as sensitive as "watery people".I wonder if "earthies" feel the energies and feelings of other people, but they, with their rationality, ignore it.Well,I want to see your comments and suggestions about it ;P |
PixieJane | Water heavy people tend to remember feelings the most and are sensitive to feelings more than other aspects. In contrast someone air heavy is more likely to remember ideas, conversations, and plans while someone fire heavy will remember the passion and the drive and inspiration, and someone earth heavy more into accomplishments. So say these 4 work together...on the good side the earthy sign remembers what they accomplished, the air sign the method and the planning, the fire sign achievement (though may already be thinking of the next project, losing interest in this one), the water sign how it made them feel. Of course they all remember everything, I'm talking about that which will stand out the most in their memory, the earth, fire, and air aren't devoid of emotions it's just not as immediately evident nor do they emphasize it in their speech as water would. And should it fall apart the fire person may throw a tantrum (more so than the water) but will quickly get over it, the air will readjust their plans, the earth will weigh on the practical matters and consider whether the venture is worth more pursuit (and they can be stubborn, and there is something to be said about the tortoise who doesn't give up), while the water will nurse bitter feelings that imprint a lot harder in memory and aren't as easily overcome. I figure they all probably feel as strongly but water emphasizing it more (in self and in others, for better and worse) will give the impression of having stronger feelings. But as we aren't omniscient we can't really know. One thing I do know is just because someone isn't a slave to their feelings doesn't mean that therefore they don't have any (a mistake all too many people make). |
charlie | I am not sensitive as in I cry over things. I am sensitive to other people's vibrations. It's really hard for me to close those boundaries and not become affected on a higher level! I actually FEEL others emotions so deeply I sometimes confuse them as my own. It's horrible!! I have a water sun and earth moon. |

DeepFreeze | ^^^ excellent!!! (My phone autocorrected to "excrement". Wtf? LOL) I could go on and on. I think it's a combination of things (that really boils down to individuals and individual situations) but overall I agree with pixie. It depends on what's considered more important to the person and also how they express themselves. (Which I think what pixie said can be applied here in a general sense) I like to "think my emotions away" generally. But sometimes I cry (though not often. Couple times a year. LOL) and it happens in private, never in public. Not even in front of family - just by myself. Sometimes I make a scene for some really kind of trivial thing. Another time I was FUMING. Like, burn the earth down pi**ed. I went home and played horseshoes. LOL Never said a word to anyone.

PlutoSurvivor | Hi wintersun. Yes, I think that the Moon placement has a lot to do with our feelings and our sensitivities and the Moon in water signs seems to be more heightened, only because the experience of feelings and emotions is a major focus for water Moon. Cancer Moon flows in and out of their feelings along with the phases of the moon. Scorpio Moon can feel energies of the past and at other levels of dimension and from the depths of the unconscious layers. Pisces Moon is connected to the collective and feels everything at the collective level which can be far removed from physical life experience. With water signs the source of the feelings are not always identified or understood by the person, so their feelings become a major focus. This is why you hear that water signs are so sensitive. |

Aunt Anomalia | Poor guy. Is that aspect his only Neptune aspect? ------------------ My sister in arms presents... |

Aunt Anomalia | Mercury disposes his Moon... I think the position of his Chiron plays a role too. Does it aspect his personal planets? Edit: wait, if it's conjunct Neptune then it means it's sextile Mercury. ------------------ My sister in arms presents... |

Aunt Anomalia | Ehhh. How tight are his Chiron and Neptune sextiles to Mercury? ------------------ My sister in arms presents... |

Aunt Anomalia | I wanted to know the orbs but ok. Let's ignore the Chiron sextile then. Now I'm wondering about the Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter bunch. How many degrees are between each? ------------------ My sister in arms presents... |

Aunt Anomalia | quote: Neptune-Chiron is 11 degrees
Mamma mia I wouldn't consider it a conjunction even between personal planets. quote: Chiron's square to Sun sign ruler Saturn is 3°25.
Sounds like a b.itch . I have an opposition.------------------ My sister in arms presents... |

Aunt Anomalia | quote: For instance, I have Sun and Saturn separated by 11 degrees in the same sign and house and think the effect is still quite noticeable, though of course not as strongly as in a close conjunction, but still, it's there.
What are your Saturn aspects? Anything in Capricorn?Chiron and Neptune in the 1st even not conjunct seem capable of bringing sensitivity and pain. Jupiter conjunct Chiron could expand the pain :/ quote: Unless, of course, it's this thing^…what do you think? Or is it perhaps Cappy's deep Saturnine/melancholic side?
Both. I think he felt like this world hated him/was hell and he couldn't take it anymore after another precious person was taken away from him. I wouldn't be surprised if looked forward to death. Is Saturn in his 4th house? What are his Moon aspects? Is it in the 12th house? ------------------ My sister in arms presents...
