jaygirl | I've noticed that I'm an "all or nothing" type of person, where I can do something religiously for 3 weeks straight then completely stop and forget about it for the rest of my life. Is there an aspect or a placement that typically denotes this type of behavior? Or is that just a part of my nuturing in a nature vs. Nurture argument? ------------------ Taurus Rising Aries Sun Sag Moon Aries Mercury Taurus Venus With 3 of those in the 12th house to boot! |

Couple of things come to mind. I think of "all or nothing" and obsessive as plutonic, so personal planets in major aspects to Pluto and Scorpio planets. Obsessive-compulsive is conjunctions and hard aspects of Saturn-Pluto.

Aries23Degrees | Where is your Mars and Saturn at? What degree is your Taurus Asc? Thing is,I put more weight in Vedic astrology than western. My Asc sign is based on Vedic. |
bansheequeen | I can see an Aries-Taurus person being this way. The fixed sign gives you the tunnel vision and makes you the kind of person that get suck on and obsessed wi a thing and the Aries in you makes you go at it with fire and extreme energy, |
zirr1 | I am the exact same way! I would also like to know what would cause this astrologically... For Pluto/Scorpio I have Scorpio Moon Scorpio pluto Sun trine Pluto Venus trine Pluto Mars opposition Pluto Saturn square Pluto Neptune Sextile Pluto Does having these placements cause a short time obsession? For example right now for the past 2 weeks i've been obsessively baking and getting good at it, but maybe next week i'd never bake again. I got really into photography for a year and now I never take photos. I become obsessed with things then stop and lose my obsession after a short period of time. |

Off topic but can you explain why you put more weight on Vedic? I am interested because I feel I resonate better with my Vedic as well.

It is off topic Lol. Listen, the aspects stay exactly the same and the general overview is the same. But I am very sensitive to specifics. And I find that the Vedic system placements simply attract me within this regards. My sister and I share the Cancer moon position. But i don't have the same "love of family" that she does. To also add on to this, I tend to intellectualize my feelings a lot. Though not the type to be "fickle" or flippant about other people's feelings,I tend to examine mine a lot. I intellectualize feelings a lot;dig deep, read, investigate and expend a lot of energy(curiously) to find/"diagnose" an exact word to describe the feeling. Words tends to have a very therapeutic, nurturing effect on me- not hugs or kisses(Cancer). I love talking about feelings(Gemini). The one thing that made me really doubt this Vedic Moon position at first, was the fact that Moon Gemini is made out to be an energy that is "fickle","superficial" and exclusively extroverted etc. But there are just too many people that I meet that say; "you are so eloquent/well spoken!" or "You have a way with speaking/writing" etc. Mostly Mercury-heavy areas. Moon in Gemini/Mars in Virgo(Vedic). There are other things too. |

Hmmm so Pluto has alot to do with obsession? I'm not sure what my chart says but here goes lol

Ami Anne | Your culprit is Pluto oppose Venus. You prolly get super obsessive when you are in love and it is not your fault. It is your chart make up, so know that when it happens. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ami Anne | You have a lovely Moon trine Sun so your emotions and head can work together to help you figure out things. Many people don't have this and they have their heart telling them one thing and their head another, so you are blessed with this! ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I didn't know that wasn't common! Well lucky me! |
Ami Anne | If your time of birth is right, you have Merc in the 12th at 20th degree, so one of your struggles may be in communication. You may hem and haw until you can figure out what you want to say and it may feel painful. If the Sun is here, it may be hard to shine, too. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I don't have a problem initiating serious topics when I communicate but I do tend to stutter, especially when face-to-face and when it's about my feelings. Most people don't know that though because i'm rarely serious. |

Kannon McAfee | This all-or-nothing tendency is a Plutonian one primarily, and fire secondarily. By fire I mean emphasis/angular aspects (in longitude or declination) of planets or signs. You can see this in your chart with Sun and Mercury in Aries and a tight opposition by Venus to Pluto. It is possible Pluto is opp your Asc, since I don't assume that each chart's Asc is accurate as-is. In addition, you have Moon [25S45] contra-parallel Mars [25N21], which is very much a 'fiery' aspect. ------------------ Professional Astrology, Expert Rectification Complete Rising Sign Descriptions |
