Odette | ... people you proposed to! Please list their personal planets and yours! I'm curious to see what patterns we find And could you also include your/their Chinese Astrology sign? I'm more and more interested in Chinese Astrology of late I'll start.. My placements: Sun: Aries Moon: Capricorn AC: Gemini/Cancer cusp Mercury: Pisces Venus: Taurus Mars: Capricorn Chinese: Fire Tiger Their charts: Sun: Libra Moon: Capricorn AC: Capricorn Mercury: Scorpio Venus: Libra Mars: Virgo Chinese: Wood Ox Sun: Leo Moon: Scorpio AC: Virgo Mercury: Leo Venus: Cancer Mars: Libra Chinese: Water Dog Sun: Aquarius Moon: Pisces AC: Taurus Mercury: Pisces Venus: Aquarius Mars: Sagittarius Chinese: Fire Tiger |
Odette | From my list above - the main thing that strikes me is that the Sun Signs and Moon Signs - are in compatible elements - with all three men. And actually... I just noticed they all have Earth sign Ascendants, which are likewise compatible with my (possible) Cancer AC. |

colorful butterfly | My understanding that if an ascendant is in the same sign as the moon or venus that it can indicate marriage for both of the parties involved? It works like the sun and moon sign? |
LionFish | Mine: Asc: Leo Sun: Pisces Moon: Taurus Mercury: Pisces Venus: Aries Mars: Sag1st guy who proposed: Asc: Unknown Sun: Cancer Moon: Aquarius Mercury: Gemini Venus: Leo Mars: Gemini (I said not right now, I wasn't ready, 6 months later he was cheating on me) My fiancé: Asc: Cancer Sun: Aquarius Moon: Virgo Mercury: Aquarius Venus: Aquarius Mars: Scorpio We'll be married this Halloween |

yes, but studies have shown the most common is Sun-Asc and then Moon-Asc. the problem is that so many people don't know their Asc, so it's hard to know how often this occurs between partners. the sun/moon is easier to determine |

Randall | Chinese Astrology is very interesting. |
Nelys | Mine: ASC: Gemini Sun: Sagittarius / Capricorn (Sag 29.52 deg) Moon: Scorpio Mercury: Capricorn Venus: Aquarius Mars: Libra CHINESE: Metal Rooster 1st Husband (abusive): ASC: Pisces Sun: Pisces Moon: Aries Mercury: Pisces Venus:Taurus Mars:Leo CHINESE: Metal Monkey Husband: ASC: Taurus Sun: Virgo Moon: Gemini Mercury: Virgo Venus: Cancer Mars: Scorpio CHINESE: Metal Monkey The problem with Chinese astrology is that anyone born a year before me is a Monkey and, since I'm a Rooster, we're "incompatible." That's a pretty large number of people who are incompatible with other people roughly the same age, so I am skeptical. Of course, I don't know about Chinese astrology in depth. However, I did find an interesting website whose interpretation listed the Rooster's equivalent sign in Western astrology as Virgo (same sign and majority of planets are in Virgo for both my husband and my mother). My husband's equivalent sign is Leo (the sign on my IC). Inneresting! |
LionFish | I totally spaced the Chinese signs! 1st guy was a Water Pig My fiance is a Wood Ox The guy i dated between them that I would have said yes had he proposed was an Earth Goat Eta: Apparently I'm a sucker for Chinese signs that I'm incompatible with.. strange |
Faith | Does there have to be a ring? Do teenage "engagements" count? Every guy I was with for over 6 months talked about marrying me, made me promise I would marry them. edit ~ maybe they don't count So anyway: Myself: Leo ASC, Cap sun, Pisces moon, Sag Venus-Neptune, Gem Mars. Wood Rabbit Husband: Cancer ASC, Leo sun, Libra moon, Virgo Venus, Leo Mars. Fire Rooster Interesting to note: I've never been in a serious relationship with someone who had a personal planet in water, or a water Chinese sign. |

You mean that nutty Pisces moon guy you're always complaining about has Pisces Mercury?! Hey maybe it's the *Mercury* that makes him nutty! J/k...my moon will take the blame if you insist. #Martyr
