I have not experienced the quincunx transit of Pluto to natal Moon, but I'm in the latter stages of Pluto conjunct natal Moon. The quincunx is an aspect of 'adjustment', due to changes that tend to pop up unexpectedly or which are of the undesired type. With this involving the Moon, it often affects relations with the mother/family/females close to you, and/or domestic situation. It can also mean transformation/death, metaphorically or literally. This can be the case in any major progression or transit involving these two principles of 'endings.'
During this period of Pluto conjunct natal Moon, I've watched as people I know, friends and some secondary relatives decline or die. It has also been a period in which I have come to understand better my parents' own mortality and I'm getting used to the knowledge that their lives (at age 71) won't last more than probably two decades.
Robert Hand talks about the quincunx as an aspect/transit that brings about changes in one's (relational) environment spontaneously. I can testify to this as even lately Uranus' quincunx to my Asc has brought acquaintances into my life suddenly in an awkward way, requiring me to set some boundaries to avoid unnecessary disruption.
