T O P I C R E V I E WyellowelevatorI know there have already been some threads on unaspected planets, but I am curious to know if there is anyone else on this website that also has an unaspected or peregrine Sun. How do you feel that it affects your life and your psyche? Do you identify with the interpretations? My Leo Sun in the 3rd house is unaspected (it only makes a sextile to my ASC), and equally interesting enough, is at the critical 29th degree. I definitely relate a whole lot to it, and I do indeed feel that that planet almost isn't a part of me, that I don't understand how to incorporate or use its energies. Though of course, it is claimed that you DO use it, and can sometimes 'overcompensate' for that planet's energies, and not realize it, and the people around you can notice it quite strongly. I have indeed always marched to the beat of my own drummer, and have always carried a strong sense of individuality throughout my life. I've always been on this deep inner search to find myself and my creative potentials, always aimlessly wandering and feeling very restless, like something is always missing. Since I was quite young I always felt a strong purpose inside of me to do something great, but I've never been able to 'catch' it, if you will. It always seems out of reach. I have gotten the sense from others sometimes that they assume I am too self-absorbed and too on-my-own, too consumed with finding myself. I've always felt incredibly misunderstood. My father was absent for most of my life as well, which I have read is a possible common thing with an unaspected Sun. I do feel like I have deep potential for something, but cannot seem to find a way to dig it up and allow it expression. I sometimes feel that I have a missing identity.Does anyone else with an unaspected Sun relate to any of this? How do you deal with it, or how do you think you deal with it?YanmorgI don't have an unaspected Sun, but I was in a relationship with someone who has almost an unaspected Sun.His Sun only makes 1 aspect which is Sun square Saturn. He is very lost, confused, and lazy. He has had a rough life (I've known him for more than a decade) but he doesn't try to better himself despite his circumstances. Everyone has problems, but he doesn't try to fix them either. astra7 quote:Originally posted by Yanmorg:I don't have an unaspected Sun, but I was in a relationship with someone who has almost an unaspected Sun.His Sun only makes 1 aspect which is Sun square Saturn. He is very lost, confused, and lazy. Doux RêveI (sort of) know someone who has this, in Sagittarius. I believe the OP describes him pretty well. The guy has a huge ego though (at least outwardly) - narcissistic traits. There's a sense of insecurity beneath it all though; a dichotomy.m.bladeDoes a wide sextile to saturn (about 6 degrees) count as NOT having an unaspected sun?what about a trine to my ascendant ?if not then I have an unaspected sun.rebelqueenI believe that Beyonce and Taylor Swift have unaspected Suns, you might as well research their charts/lives.Ami AnneThis is a super star aspect. I know Beyonce has, although to look at her you'd think she has everything going for her. She finds things difficult to cope with on an emotional level (saw a documentary about her once and she definitely struck me as troubled sometimes).Anyway my sun is sort of nowhere, running away from the stellium conjunction that is mercury, uranus and pluto in Virgo. It trines with my Jupiter in Taurus though, so although I think I often feel directionless, or searching for something and not knowing where to find it, that Jupiter placement gives me a cheerful outlook a lot of the time. I think it's my saving grace or I probably wouldn't be here by now otherwise. astra7 quote:Originally posted by m.blade:Does a wide sextile to saturn (about 6 degrees) count as NOT having an unaspected sun?what about a trine to my ascendant ?if not then I have an unaspected sun.I would have thought it being the SUN, 6 degrees sextile is ok.Not sure if Asc can be included.m.blade quote:Originally posted by astra7:
Originally posted by m.blade:Does a wide sextile to saturn (about 6 degrees) count as NOT having an unaspected sun?what about a trine to my ascendant ?if not then I have an unaspected sun.I would have thought it being the SUN, 6 degrees sextile is ok.Not sure if Asc can be included.
ah ok i do have a 6 degree sextile with sun and saturnand i would have thought asc would be considered such unaspected menas that - unaspected. has no other energies interfering with its purity. and if the planet is in good dignity (for sun thats pisces, gemini, virgo, leo, aries, cancer, sagittarius) it'd ascertain amazing results right??yellowelevatorThanks everyone who gave some input and shared their stories/experiences, or about people they know with this configuration! Did not know that Beyonce has one, or Taylor Swift for that matter. That's pretty interesting.yellowelevator quote:Originally posted by astra7:
Originally posted by Yanmorg:I don't have an unaspected Sun, but I was in a relationship with someone who has almost an unaspected Sun.His Sun only makes 1 aspect which is Sun square Saturn. He is very lost, confused, and lazy. I would agree that it seems to work out that way sometimes with this configuration, or really any unaspected planet for that matter.astra7Another way to think about unaspected planets is this...We all need a mirror to see ourselves, otherwise how else do we know how we look (other than someone to tell you that you look gorgeous/awful etc). So with planets, they also need some referencing aspects, to interact, THEN the energy is felt. It doesn't mean that the person don't have Sun. Of course we all have! So I think aspects are like referencing point. We live in a duality world, where there is light, there is shadow...type of thing. If we only had light, we don't know how light it is without darkness.Ami AnneYes, Jo, it does not mean that the ascent is without struggles!------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? His Sun only makes 1 aspect which is Sun square Saturn.
He is very lost, confused, and lazy.
