hannaramaa | For some reason Pluto in the 5th has been nagging me (I have it) and I wondered if others would agree this is kind of a love repellent? Or does this placement at least indicate potential partners having a strong reaction to me one way or another? My 5th house is ruled by Libra but Pluto is in Scorpio. I also have Saturn in Capricorn in the 7th and they sextile. Since they're outer planets I'm not sure if it matters but there ya go. |
athenegoddess | What is the degree? Pluto in the fifth house sounds like you will have a child that changes your life drastically. |
hannaramaa | It's at 14 degrees and retrograde, but I'm not asking about children. |

This is true actually

curiouspisces89 | I have Pluto in the 5th house as well and because Pluto stays in the same sign for a very long time so I don't agree that it means for everyone that their child will transform them. I am relatively new to astrology but this is how the Pluto in the 5th house has been affecting me: Pluto for me gives me an big urge to create art. Since I was a child I have always created and it feels like a necessity for me. I love it. Also I think Pluto can indicate transformations through your relationships because some of them can be really intense and passionate (this has happened to me). |
Comatoes | No love repellant more a attractor to love experiences. Pluto in 5th means you seek depth, you don't do superficial. You want honesty and passion in your life, your relationships, and your hobbies. You have a inner fire and strength of will. You don't half do things, you go in with all seriousness. Saturn in Capricorn in 7th just backs up what I said -- you have deep intensity in your heart core. The Fifth house is what your heart is made out of, any planets there show what keeps your heart beating and what you resonate to and what people see in you when they know you. Your creative efforts and work may have a Scorpio theme to them even if you don't intend for them to, because what you create is shown by your 5th house. Pluto in 5th can show people who are good with weapons, good fighters, long distance runners, survivalists, or any sport or activity that requires endurance. Pluto in 5th probably aspects your Asc? I think you say love repellant because Saturn in 7th makes one cautious in relationships, which can repel sometimes, but Saturn is always learning and getting better. So all this will improve itself as more experiences come into your life.

charlie | I have natal Cap Moon 5H sq Libra Pluto 2H which means tPluto is right now conjunct my Moon in 5H. To sum it up: I entered a relationship with a man that has an 8 year old daughter. She has her issues with many things (she is plutonian herself) and I've had to choose between my much needed sense of freedom and trying to guide her in life thus, she has changed my life. I also seem to battle a neverending fire inside of me that is making me absolutely sick and tired of BS! I can barely tolerate people anymore. tPluto is making all kinds of crazy aspects in my chart right now along with all the squares he's making in natal. |

I have the Pluto sextile Saturn too. It's good, it gives stamina and determination. I bet you stand your ground in relationships. It's a great "partner selection mechanism" Sat in 7th is the classical delayer...but with that Pluto in the 5th, I would go for Pluto influenced people. I mean those scorpios outhere will have their planets falling on your fifth. It's nice.

tgem | Hey there, good to see you! I have pluto in the 5th house Scorpio with 5th ruled by Libra. I I think it's more to do with your romances will be transforming and yes, your children will will change your life drastically! I have first hand experience with this one. My son was born special needs. |
hannaramaa | Scorpios do tend to gravitate towards me! My vertex is in Scorpio too and conj. Pluto. I am working on standing my ground in relationships, like sticking to my standards and not changing myself for someone. I don't want kids so I'm unconcerned about one changing my life. I thought maybe since Pluto is so strong that if it is in my 5th houss, the first house of any romantic inclinations whatsoever, maybe it meant men would have a strong negative reaction to me (or the things I love since someone did mention 5th is about the heart which I never thought of before! 👍 Becaise they do. Guys are unnecessarily / overly rude to me all the time (I meam guys im interested in or talking to. I just don't get treated very nicely.) |

Hi 😊 Interesting. I actually have a strong desire to be an advocate at an agency for SN kids, ever since my friend with a SN brother told me about her horror story of an agency and how other advocates treated them. If our 5H is ruled by Libra, does Venus play any part in this even if it doesn't aspect Pluto? Also someone asked if my Pluto aspected my ASC and it doesn't, it's biggest aspect is it's opposition to my Moon (and next is it being inconjunct to Mars). |
aquaguy91 | Maybe it's Saturn in the 7th. Saturn always puts a damper on things. |
hannaramaa | Does Saturn in the 7th cause people to be generally bothered by you? I only notice it with men I'm interested in! Well, 3 that I can think of. There's like a tone of contempt there when they're talking to me about our relationship. |

For instance, if Pluto is in H8, does that mean you seek depth in your sexual relationships? |
Seimei | relationships that transform self ------------------ -- |
astra7 | Saturn sq Venus or Venus Sq Sun in transit or progressed chart would make it unlucky for love I think. |
FruityLlama | Hanna, I have the exact same placement! As far as I can tell it has brought me scorpionic/intense people in my dating life. But I've not dated that much, so the othr way I think it has manifested is that I get quite hung up on people myself, but also my hobbies- I get so immersed and obsessed with interests aha EDIT: Also I feel quite strongly about relationships in general, and I absolutely need to feel like its genuine and serious= scorpio pluto in 5TH right there :P |

Yes me too! That's a new way to look at it - that Pluto can maybe cause one not to date as much because we're immersed in other things we love or because we want something deep. I'm the same exact way and often attract Scorpionic people. Keeping relationships going is harder for me than starting them I guess. Maybe Pluto in the 5h is also a heartbreaker placement? |
yota13 | I have pluto in scorpio 5h, conjunct vertex, and sesquiquadrate my ascendant. People have a strong reaction to us, for better or worse. Relationships come and go, and periods of love drought seem endless. The urge to destroy is strong, but that is also a powerful urge to create. Creative outlet is vital. That's my experience so far. |
moonlightx | I have Pluto in Scorpio in the 5th conjunct Juno with my Lilith, Vertex, and POF sitting in this house. I also have Saturn in Cap in the 7th (although my 5th house is ruled by Scorpio.) Honestly, I think the combination of BOTH these planets in "romance" houses is to blame for lack of potential suitors. The natures of Saturn and Pluto are so serious... I know for myself, I don't casually date. I have to feel very strongly about someone before I consider dating them. I want someone committed, confident, and passionate. However, despite being 25, I've never had an "official" boyfriend. Pluto has been going back and forth over my DSC so I'm hoping that'll change soon. If I were to say how I think this placement plays out, I'd say: - Intense crushes (I was into this one guy for five years. Waited around like a hawk watching prey, eventually snatched him up, but it didn't work out) - People having strong crushes on you...or attracting people that just want sex from you - Perhaps having an intimidating vibe (more so if Pluto aspects the ASC) - Loving and being loved by Scorpio/Plutonian people - Being transformed after every romantic encounter - Wanting to connect deeply with your love interest As for guys being rude to you, how is your Saturn aspected? Is there anything else in your 7th house? |
