T O P I C R E V I E WFaithI'm sure this happens often, but I don't remember seeing it discussed.Example:* My 6H Capricorn sun is sextile my 8H Pisces moon.It looks mutually supportive at first glance, but the 6H/Virgo will of the sun is challenged by the Pisces moon.* My 11H Gemini Mars is trine my 3H Libra Pluto.Again, looks fine at first...by the Aquarian expression of Mars stands against the secretive nature of 3H Pluto. Not sure what to make of this...Do you have any similar aspects/placements in your chart?Any thoughts about it?venus2tinkerbell quote:Originally posted by Faith:* My 11H Gemini Mars is trine my 3H Libra Pluto.Again, looks fine at first...by the Aquarian expression of Mars stands against the secretive nature of 3H Pluto.Well 11 is Aqua. Isn't 3 Gemini? Is it secretive? Or do you mean Pluto is secretive? I think a 3rd house Libra Pluto specializes in the basics, like common sense, almost finishing up what's been started in the Virgo 2nd house...Who knows where I'm getting that from. I have a similar thing happening between my Saturn in 11th and Uranus in 4th conj. my IC. They are trine 1°, but Uranus on my IC in my 4th makes me very, very comfortable with Uranian/Aquarian/11th house energy, and Saturn in my 11th makes me sort of uncomfortable with it. Them having a tight trine has always seemed contradictory to me. As another example, you mentioned your Gem Mars trine Libra Pluto, and it reminded me of my friend T. He has the same trine 0°, but his Mars is in his 8th and his Pluto is in his 12th, so both of those house placements strongly reinforce his deep need for privacy and his secretive side, as opposed to your house placements seeming to conflict. So, I can see what you mean about the house placements being key factors in the energy expression of "good" aspects.Faith quote:Originally posted by venus2tinkerbell: Well 11 is Aqua. Isn't 3 Gemini? And even more simply: Gemini in a secretive house always looks challenging to me, as does Pluto in an extroverted house. FaithAnother one I have:6H Aquarius Mercury sextile 5H Sag Venus, 1 degree orb. It's Aquarius versus (or "complementing," to put it optimistically) Leo/5H there.
Example:
* My 6H Capricorn sun is sextile my 8H Pisces moon.
It looks mutually supportive at first glance, but the 6H/Virgo will of the sun is challenged by the Pisces moon.
* My 11H Gemini Mars is trine my 3H Libra Pluto.
Again, looks fine at first...by the Aquarian expression of Mars stands against the secretive nature of 3H Pluto.
Not sure what to make of this...
Do you have any similar aspects/placements in your chart?
Any thoughts about it?
