T O P I C R E V I E WChar25Does anyone know what aspects, planets or signs make females really into "glamming up" i.e the type that would never step out without makeup etc. I'm just interested in knowing some of the general signs or aspects that contribute to intense vanity? DreaminessLeo influence, esp in the moon can point to this. My mom always have makeup on no matter where she`s going and can go a bit overboard with makeup too. I remember when i was little she would put on makeup just to get the mail. A few other leo influenced people i know also does the same thing. A lot of times it looks like they are about to go to a party or big event but really their just going to a friend to chill and watch movies or to the store or whatever. goatcatLeo!goatcatValeria Lukyanova is a LeoKylie Jenner is a LeoReadytochillI agree with posters with Leo. Not once. Maybe it's because my ASC trines Sag Venus. Which prefers hiking boots. VioletsI just want to add that a lot of us, as we get older, care less about makeup, being a fashionista, looking immaculate, etc. Some people will be that way into their old age, granted. But I think that age and lifestyle have a lot to do with the glamour factor. When I was in my twenties, I was a bit of a fashion perfectionist. I was still that way into my thirties. Especially when I was younger, I would wear boots even on the hottest summer days, and thin, sheer dresses in winter...whatever looked the way I wanted to look. Now you could not pay me to do any of those things. ...In other news, I put on jeans today (as opposed to yoga pants). WINNING! The hoodie stays. -_-This is what happens to many of us as we enter gracelessly into middle age and have toddlers. Char25defiantly agree with Leo infleuce..every person i've met with venus in Leo is obsessed with their appearance or looks in general. What about venus in Aries - is this in general a placement that would make one vain? Violets^ Yes. I have Venus in Aries, and I can still be a bit vain at times. When I was younger, I was considerably vain, in the sense of going to great lengths to look fashionable, makeup intact, etc. However, my Virgo Sun friend with Leo planets (I think maybe Venus and Mars, but I don't recall exactly) beat me by a long shot in the vanity department. Yikes... She's still that way to this day (is a hairstylist by profession). PixieJaneI didn't get much into it makeup wise (save when I was trying to "master the art"), but that could be my Sag stellium not wanting the routine, and thinking of better things to spend my money on.Or maybe it was my model mother (same Leo ASC and decan as me, though she had more Leo in her chart)...I saw what she was like most of the time in addition to knowing how much work it was. As much as it shocks me (because of how I was raised, I presume, which most people can't relate), I know that the way many aspire to appear isn't natural, and that the beautiful women who become models don't look as they do in the magazines when at home (especially not in this day of photoshop). And listening to the demands placed upon her by her modeling agency made me determined to never be in such a position as my strong splash of Leonine pride would never tolerate it...and by extension, I could associate using a lot of makeup and glamor as surrendering my autonomy, begging for acceptance from inferiors (from Leo's perspective, that is, that would not be how I think of it consciously). That said, I do appreciate applying my own creativity in making my own clothes (which could be my packed 5H--creativity--which complements my Leo ASC nicely, and could get extreme at times up until my early 20s). I do like dressing the part when going out (that is, for business, fun, whatever), though not in some glamorous over the top way, I prefer tasteful and dignified to gaudy, which is probably my Libra sun and stellium. The one area where I go over the top is when I wear costumes, I go all out for that even to the point of getting prescriptions for contacts just so I could change the color of my eyes.Solar_Leo_Queen.diamondbabyMoon in LeoVenus in LeoSolar_Leo_QueenLibra/Leo mixStawrI use to work with a Scorpio Sun.
