I'm at work, shouldn't be goofing off right now. Will be back later to jump into this discussion. ElysiaHello! The first thing that jumps to mind is, that having your core identity (sun) and basic needs (moon) squaring the life-purpose, would mean that you'd have to let go of, or rise above what you consider to be your most instinctive needs. And, expand radically, in tangential directions, your definition of 'me-ness'. (I dunno though, I'm just ad-libbing.)BUT, on the other hand...The descriptions of NN in Sag mention some qualities that you do have, in different forms, in your chart already. It's probably a matter of harnessing those and using them to overcome (or expand), the path set out by your sun and moon. For instance, the Uranus-conjunct-IC embodies a bit of the gypsy spirit and the willingness to explore that goes with it. A part of the expression of self also comes from the Ascendant. And yours is in Leo. Now i don't know if it trines your NN or not, but the signs are trined - that oughtta be helpful to some extent. The fixedness, loyalty and dignity of this, serves to counteract the quicksilver mutability of the Gemini south node. I leave the rest (for instance, the venus in Aries, Uranus trine sun, sextile moon) up to you to explore, since you know your chart better...All in all, what I think is, though there may be a struggle, as you will certainly read about when you look into the luminaries squaring the nodes; you are equipped with the strengths you need to tackle this. VioletsThanks, Elysia! It is an odd configuration, I think (especially within about a degree or less), but you have good points regarding other aspects/placements in my chart that help me "go with the flow" without much hassle. Yeah, I'll have to think on it a bit more, because transcending my Moon is a tough one for me. hypatia238Edited...I am dork!, your birthday is this month not in March LOL, I am super sick and with my P so excuse my brain...So you are a Pisces with moon in virgo, the reverse of me and your nodes are the reverse of my nodes. Maybe we are both suppose to learn something from the other.I would like to know more details to interpret such as sun house placement, nodal house placement and what your sun and moon rule. hypatia238 quote:Originally posted by Violets:I realize that my Sun and Moon would probably tend to hold me back from my higher path.Thoughts?Hey,I don't like to look at it like that and I think you will like what I am going to say. I feel that the expression of your sun and moon serving the houses it falls on will be vital in you fulfilling your higher path, those two planets are your allies and the key of you balancing your nodes which is the real purpose of our life path to grow into our northnode while still maintaining our southnode gifts and finding a balance between the two. A square allows you to continue working on perfecting the expression of your southnode while you incorporate new skills from your northnode and links the past to your future, giving this continuity to it all. Found out yesterday in a different post that you have a Leo Rising Chart.Your NN Sag is in your 5th house?hypatia238Interesting so your NN is in Sag and Mine is in Gemini.
