T O P I C R E V I E WLeo-Cancer98What affects the way one communicates in Astrology? Is it mainly their Mercury placement or are there other factors? For instance, if one was a Pisces Rising and had Pisces Mercury in the 1st house and Gemini Mars in the 3rd, would they speak like the average Pisces Mercury person or would the aspects change things? How? Or let's take me for instance, I don't understand/feel the influence of having Leo Mercury in the 3rd house. I'm quiet most of the time, but when I do speak, this placement allows me to express myself with passion and assertiveness. I have a strong voice and I come off very sure of myself; even though I'm shy. In addition, when I think about it, I have a logical way of approaching a subject which helps me present it very well .. to a point where it's hard not to agree with me (at least I think it's ridiculous if you don't agree with me after I'm done talking to you haha). Although, sometimes when I hear about a subject, I know my opinion towards it within a second and I'm very passionate about it as well. I tend to believe that I'm right (even though I'm wise enough to know that it's not always the case and it doesn't have to be) and I'm very stubborn with it. When I realize that I am wrong though, I still fight for it .. just because it's a pride thing. It angers me to think that someone could rub in my face how I was wrong, and they were right. Like if I hear someone disagreeing with me, I take it as a huge threat and my defense mechanism makes me want to prove them wrong immediately. I try to hold back my anger though, and depending on the case, I either end up doing nothing about it (which can be emotionally draining) or arguing until I get the last word.------------------Leo Sun/MercurySagittarius MoonCancer Venus/Mars/Rising"You haven't seen the best of me, I'm still working on my masterpiece"👊😏Kannon McAfee quote:Originally posted by Leo-Cancer98:What affects the way one communicates in Astrology? Is it mainly their Mercury placement or are there other factors? Mercury is also trine Mars, sextile Jupiter and square Pluto. I tend to be pretty quiet most of the time as well. But I think about what I say before I speak - although I'm sure it doesn't appear that way. Because I speak slowly and people always say I come across as so "calm." But in my head everything is at 100% in my internal dialogue.

Primarily Mercury: its position and aspects.
