T O P I C R E V I E Wcchampliss2If Uranus makes an easy aspect to the ASC in a person's natal chart, does it take on the uranus traits or the sign uranus is in? For example, if a person has Uranus making a trine to their ASC, but it's in Scorpio, would that person be more Scorpio like, with the whole mysterious, magnetic vibe to them? Or would they still be more Aquarius like, since Uranus is said to rule Aquarius? Or as another example, Uranus in Aries. More like a Aries Mars type person, or Aquarius mars type person? It just gives a more open and liberal vibe to the person. cchampliss2 quote:Originally posted by Doux Rêve:Uranus/Aqua.Where do you get the Mars thing in a Uranus/Asc aspect? I mentioned mars since mars rules aries so I thought that might have a way in the way a person appears to others. Doux RêveAhh. No, I don't think so! I mean, depending on the sign Uranus is in, it will flavor the aspect a little, for instance if it's Sagittarius, the person might be open-minded and somewhat unconventional (or at least open to those who are) and also quite gregarious and frank/candid in their way of expressing themselves. Gotta take the other aspects into account as well, because a simple trine to the ASC from Uranus won't necessarily give the above-mentioned traits. If Uranus is in hard aspect to Saturn it can change things dramatically, for example. teaselI have them conjunct in Scorpio, and they both trine Mars in Pisces... I'm not sure how to answer this. I'll have to think about it, and come back. BeholdAstartewell, you have to take both into account. so with uranus making a trine to the ascendent, the element would most of the time be in the same element. so you definitely want to take URANUS's traits into consideration, its about the planets more so than the sign, because its the planets energy that blends with the sign involved to give it a different dimension or expression. the signs are the colored shadows so to speak, but its the planet that is radiating that energy. so a scorpio uranus making a trine to the asc would definitely add a very magnetic, and mysterious quality to it, both planets, pluto and uranus have that in common, but what scorpio would do to uranus is make its expression more intense, solidfying stubborness but the uranus qualities of being eccentric and marching to the drum of its own beat with still very much be in evidence. you have to consider the signs and how they mesh with the planet involved too, like say uranus is in capricorn, its trine would be far concentrated and focused in capricorn vs if uranus was in sag, its expression would be more daring and erratic, so fire uranus is more impulsive and risky, especially in aries and sag, but still holds true to its nature and what it rules.. i could see uranus aries being like mars aquarius, or any combo planet/ sign wise like that, but although it would be similar its still not entirely the same if you know what i mean just because each planet is so unique to its own vibrations, they all serve there own purpose. cchampliss2Thank you for the responses! They are only one year apart and both of them have Uranus in Scorpio trining their ASC. ayujegegdeletedKoniuchaWhat if someone has Uranus square asc?Kannon McAfeeKoniucha,Uranus square a correct Asc indicates someone who is footloose, tends to rebel against norms, standout, be outré, live a restless life in which they tend to defy commitment in a relationship or live very loosely within it, just as they would if they were not married/committed. The person would tend to have an attraction/repulsion affect on others generally -- they turn you on or off. If my ASC is correct, I have this.
Married 17+ years.
Venus trine ASC & semisextile Uranus, so it kinda unifies them.
