Cappi112 | Pluto moves extreeeemely slowly. If you view a Pluto transit - which can last up to ten years when you factor in times it goes retrograde - as being filled with doom, you are dooming yourself to years of hardship. Pluto has been transiting my 12H for a year now and will continue to for ten years from here. At first, this really freaked me out - I noticed immediately that it has FORCED me to change. Only now do I see that it has forced me to change... for the better. I was laid off from a job I thought I needed but was actually miserable and dying in. This forced me to move - all the way to Europe for a new job. I was in a relationship that I thought was soul-mate. It was extremely 12H ish in that my SO was lying and cheating on me (and with me) the whole time. I was forced to leave him when the entire truth came out a few months ago. Now I am with a man who treats me like a queen, who I am positive I was supposed to meet during and as a result of this time. And the biggest: I was pursing a lifelong dream of performance, and after stress, anxiety and health issues continued to plague me over the Past year, I have started an entirely new career with new passions - beginning my own business with two of my closest, strongest female friends. You have to find ways Pluto is going to shake you up and change your life for the better. The POINT is to scrap the bad and show you what is RIGHT. This manifests no matter what house it is transiting. |
Gemini Blues | 10 years of Pluto in my second was easier than the 1 1/2 years and counting of Saturn in my second. |
Bear9 | I think it depends on the aspects Pluto is making to other things in your chart. I've seen some charts where a Pluto transit wiped someone's life out (and not in a good way) and in others where it cleared out bad stuff and they ended up much better off. It is very individual. Post your chart? With transits. |
BeholdAstarte | my pluto is in my 9th house now.. I suppose it was in my 8th house when I was in high school, I was obsessed with death/dying.. contemplating where id go.. very very destructive and transformative stage of my life.. |
RoseLily | Pluto in eighth just means it's coming back to a familiar place for me, who has it native. Keeping an eye, however, on it's slow transit through my eleventh, currently nearing the neptune/uranus conj. I'd say that without being scared, I'm sort of wary. I'm already not someone who has habits of keeping friends around for a very long time, I find myself slightly curious as to where I'll end up when it passes this cluster of slow-paced planet. Especially with the opposition to Venus. I can look for a rocky boat for the next years where my friends and social circle is concerned. |
Bear9 | I've been reading book on Pluto by Jeffrey Wolf Green. It covers Pluto in each house natally as well as transits within houses. Pluto is transiting my 7th, nearly over, and about to enter my 8th. I've been half-heartedly concerned only because life has already been torn apart and lots of deaths in family over past 20 years. Check your progressed chart. I've been doing that for myself and siblings, to get a read on how to understand them and me and where we've been plus going in terms of personal impact. |
LaceyLeigh | I haven't had this one. Good luck, though! |

I have this placement, both my Saturn and Pluto are in Scorpio. I have my pluto in its actually house, but it is occupied by libra. The last time this took affect I believe was when Saturn was in Aquarius to Pisces and I was around 9 to 10. My grandfather died when I was 10 in June. My heart broke. My uncle has Saturn in Pisces, my uncle Jeffery. |
