T O P I C R E V I E WstarmoonI met my very first ever Sag recently and we have been talking and want to be friends. Forming a new friendship between girls... BUT, every single time we see each other she says 'let's get together' 'let's hang out' 'let's do something' but when I actually try to pin down a time/date with her, she kinda runs off for days on end. Is this normal? My brother is a Sag moon but he doesn't seem to operate this way... is the Sag sun not aware of other peoples' time and wanting to make plans? We work together so I was hoping we'd be coffee friends or whatever and she seemed friendly, but... I don't get it?!bluestskies88meh, sometimes it has nothing to do with zodiac, but has something to do with maladaptive personalities.Aries23Degrees I do this a lot Sag Sun.etherealsaturnI know many Sags that do this to an extent. I also do this myself. Sag Moon. I'll often say and agree to hang out with someone but when it comes to be that time I change my mind and would rather be alone.I think I just like to be in control.hannaramaaThat's a Sag for you. They don't like being pinned down and are secret control freaks. My friend's three year old is a Sag and we wanted her on the concrete patio and not the grass, but she wouldn't do it when told normally. I had to tell her to stay in the grass... Sure, that's probably an average 3-year-old, but getting a Sag to do what you want works the same way. Another example is comedienne Miranda Hart. In her show "Miranda" her love interest Gary yells at her for not helping out like she said she would even though she meant to, and Miranda didn't get mad, instead she turns to the camera and says "Oh I've never been so turned on!" Sags are just odd that way, they rebel against every order even if well intentioned. So...do the opposite and act like your busy and don't care that much about following up. Promise she'll be hanging around more. Another thing with that is Sags are verg sensitive to energy and (I think) can sense when someone is just overly into them or not coming from a true place (doesn't always mean bad, again.)mirage29What I've heard/read before is that they have a hard time with "following through" on things promised to others. For me?, I'm a Sag Asc, and I like being punctual, and responsible. Too responsible, sometimes.Again, like Bluestskies88 basically said, it's all on how that person uses their choices and potentials. I hope you meet some really cool fun people, Starmoon.ReadingTheStars95I feel like this can also be a Piscean thing.. I'd assume all mutable signs to a certain degree. However, I'm a Sagittarius Moon and I can somewhat relate. I think it's partly because Jupiter/Sagittarius likes things to be done on a whim, spontaneously.. Without a whole lot of planning. I guess in a way they want the magic of the moment to create an experience that can't be as easily planned. I'm not certain.I feel like Sagittarius is more one of the signs that would rather have a friend randomly swing by in their car inviting them out to do something somewhat unexpected.Jupiter is all about expansion.. I feel like Sagittarius may sometimes feel that plans put a damper on situations, and limit things a bit. This would not necessarily always be the case of course though.Like.. Planning may seem somewhat restrictive to the right types of Sagittarians starmoonthanks all for the insights. my planning nature would never meld well with the sag system :-) she has invited me to do stuff like 4 or 5 times but i'm over it now b/c it never comes with an actual time/date. oh well... perhaps why i have never met a sag before her... sag and i don't mesh well anymore. i've become so much less spontaneous with age...MermaidDreamzGuilty here. As Sag. Anyone who has known me, this would be their first complaint.NovabronteThere's one thing about Sag - they dont know how to say no. They try to please everybody and say yes too often, before thinking it through.Especially if people press a little - o c'mon we'll have a great time, why sit at home etc etcThen the next day the Jupiter happy juice runs out, and they wanna wallow in dark valley of solitude. That's when they disappear. They're really bad at saying no. And it gets them into trouble. When they mature, and I mean WHEN they mature, they get better at setting boundaries.SeleniteGuilty. We will say something like that to put it out there but you have to propose something interesting for us to want to hang out, unless we have an idea for an adventure. I was like that when I was younger though, now I generally don't say things like that because I realized I'd actually rather spend most of my time alone or with my boyfriend. Honestly, just tell them to come with you to a show, and they'll probably come. (Because anything can happen at a show, and we're not necessarily tied down to each other, we can meet new people, there's music playing, etc.) Selenite quote:Originally posted by Novabronte:There's one thing about Sag - they dont know how to say no. For me at least, everything sounds like a good idea at the time, and that's why it's hard to say no. It's more like a 'why not?' And then when you actually have to make the effort to make it happen, you remember why not. It's just laziness and irresponsibility. I mean, I say no all the time. But I have an Aries moon, so..
