soren | I was just thinking about, how in a thread I kept putting so much emphasis that our own phsyical earth is really engrained into us deeply, the metaphysical connection of being so close to it. What would happen if one was born in outer space, away from its grips? |
soren | As there is likely little ammount of zodiac truly imbedded outside of any planet, would an alien born in a space craft in outter space be kind of void of personality? Also for chart shapes, i think the earth and horizon add a sort of large grande smudgy earth vibe coming from below you.
if it was not there, you would just get single points. this person may have a striking sharp expression? |
soren | Ultimately- do aliens on other planets do this to create kings? This baby would be so vastly different than any planet-born. They would never truly fit in or resonate with the rest. They would be so different and have such a different perspective. Is that how they create their kings? |
Nine | "birth" chart will be drawn for the moment that baby enters the earth's atmosphere. |
Gemini30 | I wonder how it will work when the first generation is born on Mars. |
soren | How what will work? The whole civilaztion and process of going and living there? or just the zodiac part? |
DopGang | Well, a typical chart is with earth in the center. Then we have "heliocentric" charts which puts the sun in the center and earth is shown on the wheel, always very close to moon (because they are close to each other in space. So this could be "random-point-in-space" centric. Declination could be an out of bounds mess. This all assuming that they're even born in our solar system. I guess I'm working within current limitations for our manned space exploration. But honestly, I think technically, they could be born in August for example and be a Taurus because the sun is not being viewed from earth with earth as the central point. It's weird. Cool, but weird. |
AmelieRose81 | They arent born in free space. They will be born aboard a craft presumably in orbit above a certain point on earths surface. Calculate the chart from the point on earth they were in orbit above. Same goes for a baby born aboard a airplane. That airplane was directly above a point on earth at the time. |
soren | yes the question is if heliocentric charts even exist. it means that metaphysically you feel what the sun is feeling. and thus the "pulls" it has from the planets is reflected on us as we are the sun in some metaphysical sense. i dont really put much belief or care into it. it would be interesting if it had a "powerfully profound" effect on us, as observers from earth. but the thing that gets the most powerfully profoundly effected, IMO, is our own brains. hey i have a new thing. I'm gonna say IMB meaning in my belief. i dont like it when people say IMO about something that can be proven wrong. opinion to me, i guess it does mean belief. the word belief itself means that you just chose a leap of faith to believe in it kind of. opinion means you think your right. belief means you believe you are right. and its a bit more open or sometihng. IMB in my belief |
DopGang | ^^^ Very true. We're not born on the sun. About opinion. Hmmm.. I never viewed it that way but I do understand what you mean. It makes sense. |
soren | In my opinion those trees took about 40 days to grow that tall. When you know that isn't possible. Based on everything you've understood in life. The person wouldn't look as foolish if they used IMB. It means they believe something. Believe means you don't know 100% for sure. But you do believe it and think that just because you decided to or that was all the info you had so you formed some conclusion. Opinion seems to be backed up by mindfulness. To me it means the person thinks they are right. It means they don't think they can be wrong. |
