T O P I C R E V I E WScorpieScorpHi,I have so much trouble moving towards my NN, which is Libra. My SN, Aries, seems to be SUCH a winning force over me.I love to be independent, do things my way and will do anything to get it done, even if it means I do it myself...trying to delegate control to move towards collaborating with others is way too scary and makes me feel vulnerable.I could fight a revolution all day long--it fires me up. It's almost as if I look for it or want to be rebellious.HELP! How do I move towards this NN? I'm moving towards the middle of my life and don't have this thing down.Other Libra NNoders, have you been able to move fwd?CosmiqPhuzI'm the opposite - Libra SN, Aries NN. Even harder for me because I'm Libra Sun/Moon/Mars. I've got my Jupiter in Aries, so it seems like I get rewarded tenfold when I adopt more Aries characteristics. I'd say spend time with people who have a lot of placements or qualities of Libra. It will be uncomfortable for sure, basically foreign. You will find that situations will just present themselves to you where being more diplomatic, detached, and putting others first will benefit you more.ScorpieScorp quote:Originally posted by CosmiqPhuz:I'm the opposite - Libra SN, Aries NN. Can you tell me more about what you struggle with being an Aries NN, and what feels absolutely comfortable being a NN Libra? For instance, being a SN Aries, I feel I can fight a cause, a war almost. That being independent, alone even at times, feels very natural and comfortable. If I seen an injustice, it's very easy and natural for me to stand up for that person and be a voice. I find Aries energy incredibly selfish, to the point of no regard for anyone else. I find it impatient and thoughtless. Those are only the negative qualities as I know there's lots to be admired and learned from them as well. I am comfortable and familiar with the Libran tendency to weigh things out and think before doing. I like the give-and-take way of working with others. I always liked the simple pleasure of being flirty with the ladies. I used to be guilty of judging a book by its cover - being seduced and swayed by superficial and surface qualities instead of what's underneath. Thank god for my Scorpio placements. I feel Libra and Aries both desire to fight for a cause. They just go about it differently. I do have some Arian energy though - although my Mars and Moon are both in Libra, they are tightly conjunct giving me more aggression than a typical Libra.NineYou were living your NN in Libra at age 18. Think back to that time, if you're over this age, and will see that indeed you moved past it. The Nodes placements are heavily karmic, many people don't even start "living" till after 18...Aries23DegreesI wonder if you have other planets in Aries? Or maybe even Taurus/Pisces(since there is an in-conjunct relationship between them and Libra)? And which house is the North Node in?the89freespiritOhhh, so many conversations about the NN today! I actually think the North Node really kicks in during the late 20's for many people. When you have your first North Node Return (age 18), you get a real taste of it and it can open a door to something, give you a taste of your real potential. It plants a seed but you still have to live out your negative karma and bad habits and make a mess out of most of your 20's, in some way. The North Node represents maturity and I think it's not until many people are couple years away from their first Saturn Return that they really begin to "get it". The reverse Nodal Return (transiting NN hitting the SN) happens literally right before your first Saturn Return, around the age of 27 or 28. So, this straightens out a lot of your bad habits (South Node) and, I think, frees you up to embrace a more mature path (North Node). If you choose that path, that is. Saturn and the North Node are undeniably connected in a way, to me. They both represent a feeling of purpose, maturity and karma, so I feel like one inevitably impacts the other. I think that people who handle their Saturn Return very well and accomplish all they're supposed to accomplish during that time can move into their 30's and beyond with a much better grasp on their North Node. People who ignore the call of their Saturn Return, however, usually remain really out of touch with their NN in the future because they still have too many issues bogging them down to evolve. ------------------Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.comjjjI have a friend who is almost 60 and has libra NN (but Aries Venus conjunct his SN) plus mars-Pluto square abd I can assure you that this person has still not learnt his NN lessons. I think sometimes it takes a lifetime, especially with planets in SN sign.I see him as someone v selfish, impatient, ruthless, always me-me, nearly warrior attitude. Always wanting to be noticed and be the best... he hates being dependable on others and being helped. This childish behaviour sometimes really ****** me off... Aries SN gives good qualities as well like bravery, endurance, love for sports and outdoors, athletic and fit body...I have Leo SN and I can relate to those w Aries SN (big ego issues), Im still struggling with it at mid-forties...
