T O P I C R E V I E Wsc0rpioRisingDoes anyone look at the synastry and composite charts and think "well it doesn't look that good, therefore there's no point in this relationship" and don't persuade a relationship regardless of how the person actually feels? I feel like I have done this in the past, if the composite didn't show sun conjunct Venus, or the synastry didn't show anything concrete I didn't bother taking it any further; even if we really liked each other!Who else has done something similar!? How do we overcome this!?colorful butterfly quote:Originally posted by sc0rpioRising:Does anyone look at the synastry and composite charts and think "well it doesn't look that good, therefore there's no point in this relationship" and don't persuade a relationship regardless of how the person actually feels? How do we overcome this!?I have to a certain extent but I always think that it is best to use Astrology as a tool for energy. I think what will be will be regardless of what you read. Like if a person is destined to be with you, then no matter what obstacles or delays, it will manifest. A guy once told me that there was nothing I could do or say that was wrong. I think we doubt ourselves at times but in all honesty, the right person for us will understand, the wrong one won't. Not saying you will never argue or have troublesome times, it's just you both will be willing to overcome them vs leaving. I think you will know and they will know no matter what you read, it'll just happen that way. areesquivelI have done it before and last time was disaster, I rely too much on the Synastry though seemed more like a Karma situation when looking at the synastry and maybe that's why it ended pretty badly, overall I do that to see what kind of connections are we having maybe more physical than mental or something like that, I do confess before I used it do it and believed completely on it and that wasn't good.AutumnNightI wouldn't rely on anything to indicate if entering a relationship is a good idea or not. I think using astrology or any form of divination is only there to really help you handle a situation. I would only use it to give advice on how to handle a situation or what you may encounter.. better to prepare yourself. But, if it feels like the right decision to enter a relationship...enter it. I just would never let anything dictate over my own gut feeling. I think it is best to look for behavior in the person from interaction that show red flags. Valmu83Well i have noticed that I have quite often venus square saturn or vice verse in synastry/composite with my serious crush. This is karmic placement that may prevent relationship ever becoming real. i.e. Keeping it platonic, distant. Anyway its manifesting like this in my case. So after years of suffering I have learnt something: not to jump ahead of things, not to build castles in the sky. (As I have also heavy neptunian influence in my natal chart.) Now if i see this placement with someone I´m almost sure we are not meant to be. It is just new opportunity to me to learn things that I need in live. And I`m naturally drawn to that. But nowadays I decide not to take that way as I´m matured already enough to know better ChildofVenusBut what if the Saturn person who you had the Venus square Saturn aspect with actually wanted to be with you? I really don't understand why people say this is such a bad aspect? Why? Is it because the Saturn person seems to cold? What if that wasn't the case though? quote:Originally posted by Valmu83:Well i have noticed that I have quite often venus square saturn or vice verse in synastry/composite with my serious crush. But usually other person has been somehow unreachable..like married, gay etc.ChildofVenusPeople seem to blame everything on the Saturn person. Saying that it's Saturn who makes the Venus person feel unloved or is cold towards the Venus person. I have this aspect with someone and I'm Saturn. Yet I don't think I'm cold because I'm always telling the Venus person I care for them etc. So this why I don't understand why people always say this aspect is so bad. I have Venus square Saturn in my natal chart and the other person has Venus sextile Saturn in their chart. quote:Originally posted by Valmu83:Yes many times there was mutual feelings and heart ache in both sides. All wasted time, because my wife's chart looks nothing like anything I thought was an ideal match for mine. Yet it creates a synastry that has mostly positive aspects and works for us.People are often too afraid of Saturn aspects in synastry. They crave Venus-Mars and other hot Mars aspects too much.People should trust what they sense a step at a time in relation to others -- a step at a time. The problem is two-fold (a) that many students of astrology don't know it well enough to make relationship decisions using it, and (b) many of our early feelings are reactions we use to imprint upon a person, wanting them more than we are intent upon Love itself (which is a state of consciousness to be maintained). And always, Always consider a synastry evaluation complete only when declinations have been included.I met my wife by a kind of divine appointment. I don't mean 'fate', and I don't mean good karma. It was by specific request. She was not actually the most likely person I would bond with even a year or two before I met her. However, I communicated very clearly to the universe I was ready for someone who could accept and appreciate me as I am. I surrendered to willingness, because I was tired of being alone. The astrology takes care of itself if you accept only someone who can accept and appreciate you as you are. You don't just get the person who has a particular birth chart. You get the person who has grown and learned to that point regardless of what is in that birth chart.AutumnNight hit on it. It is better to use astrology in a situational rather than prejudicial manner. When I advise clients on relationships, particularly if it is early on, I don't give black and white answers unless the synastry is pretty bad. Normally, it is somewhere between truly bad and wonderful and my advise for moving forward is qualified by what I see are the particular issues or tendencies highlighted in that synastry. That is what the astrological information is for.To be honest, I have probably seen as much prejudicial use of astrology in this forum as I have healthy balanced use of it, and at times it is disheartening. ------------------The Declinations GuyRising Sign DescriptionsEnergy Healing by requestWhiteBirdsI do it. I like to know what I am up against. It's rare for me to cut off someone just because their birth chart or our synastry isn't going well, but at least I know what I'm up against. Personally, I flee from any Aquarius, or aspects of Uranus with some personal planet. If a person has aspects of Uranus with Sun / Moon / Venus or Mars, I must keep my distance. However, I don't care so much about aspects of Uranus with Mercury.Uranus is what I fear the most hehe, and I just don't risk it. And for the rest, I know that with Taurus / Cancer / Leo / Scorpio involved, that person will be important to me. I do not trust the rest of the signs, and less of the male signs of Fire or Air. The only male sign I trust is Leo. I know that this is not right, and that God is against astrology, but a help from heaven does not hurt, so as not to get involved in harmful situations. Kannon McAfeeI didn't bother with astrology when I met my wife. I trusted the universe's synchronicity in bringing us together and we both felt it was right. If it feels right for me, I’ll still date them. I read charts only to understand our strengths and weaknesses and to do predictive stuff. I don’t have perfect Synastry/Composite with my guy but he feels most right for me.
