appleberry | Because a few threads are talking about intelligence traits, here's a very interesting article that studied it: http://proastrologer.com/2013/04/14/annoyingly-intelligent-people-the-astrology-of-mensa-level-intelligence/ |
Randall | Thanks! You find the coolest stuff! If you remove the "s" it will link. |
appleberry | Thanks for the tip on that--I didn't know. It was an enlightening study; I hadn't really thought of some of those... Saturn and Mars in Gemini were not go-to intelligence placements for me, as well as a few other surprises I saw in my chart. I had 7 of them, though I'm not sure what a typical Mesa member would have for comparison, because they didn't add that. But, it was nice to ser this perspective on intelligence factors. |
aquagembaby | i def wouldn't have thought of mercury in pisces - though it sort of makes sense. maybe it adds creativity to thought and easy flow of thought? |
appleberry | Pisces Mercury is open minded thought without boundaries. It's more imagination than structured intelligence on its own. But if applied correctly, it can be used to probe into things like Scorpio but in an explorative sense. It is water so it floats through emotion. It's just not directed like Scorpio, and it gathers emotional image and thought as it floats around. |
soren | i wouldnt trust any IQ test or "recordable" methods to depict someones true genious. mathematics is not genious. a robot can do 1 billion math problems in a second. it is not a genious. |
