T O P I C R E V I E WcharlieI have been wondering about love lately. Not so much my own but love in general, I guess. What if many of us have a "tainted" chart or planets or aspects blocking the true potential partner we are destined to meet but very rarely do because we can't unlock ourselves? Take me as an example. I constantly meet Plutonian and Uranian people and one doesn't need to be Einstein to figure out the cause for this. I AM the cause and it can clearly be seen in my chart why I would meet/attract these types. The problem is this however: I don't do well with Plutonian people or Uranian for that matter because my Cancer Sun/Cap Moon crave something else but it seems hard to find it. Are there deeper guidelines for where this True Love Potential can be found in a chart-beyond what LOOKS obvious? Not the " You are a Cancer Sun + Cap Moon and therefore you will do well with a Scorpio Sun + Virgo Moon" kinda guideline. SecretGeekI have to have something strong together with a lady to counter something wanting to go in the other direction. A Pluto connection to Venus can do it for me. I usually know it when someone has it with me. Pluto to Moon is similar.SecretGeekSomeone like me with Saturn in Capricorn on your Moon could do it.charlie quote:Originally posted by SecretGeek:I have to have something strong together with a lady to counter something wanting to go in the other direction. It just feels like a black hole of unresolved love that grinds the bone marrow. It becomes too deep and too emotional and too painful. charlie quote:Originally posted by SecretGeek:Someone like me with Saturn in Capricorn on your Moon could do it.Maybe I do need stabilizers on my Moon?? Good point..mereiposaI'm with you Charlie. And have a similar chart. I'm cancer Sun and cap moon. But, I do like Pluto in my relationships. I'm 8th house Sun and Scorpio rising though. But I attract Pluto and Uranus relationships too. Look at current transits. Right now transit Pluto is hitting my Jupiter, Sun and Moon, and Uranus is hitting my Sun and Moon. I am getting pluto and uranus relationships, and these aspects are all within each person I meet!I've never had Saturn to my moon. I wonder how that would feel. charlie quote:Originally posted by mereiposa:I'm with you Charlie. And have a similar chart. I'm cancer Sun and cap moon. But, I do like Pluto in my relationships. I have Sun, Venus, Mercury, Saturn in 11H + Aqua Vertex + Uranus tight aspects everywhere so that explains a "few" things and I also have Sun, Moon, Mercury sq Pluto + progressed Pluto 1H conj Ascendant so THAT explains the other "few" things but when push comes to shove, it feels very superficial and NOT the love I need! Want? Sure, but not need. Even if Pluto will go to depths, it's a vain kinda deep and not the skin-deep closeness I am craving. The ruler of the Dsc is Saturn in 5th. So this is already a weird contradiction -given that Saturn is supposed to be "stable".Kannon McAfeeThe truest love is self-acceptance and acceptance of others as they are. As to particular partners, we are always going to be attracted to those who resonate with our own trajectory, lessons, preferences, soul history. The 'formula' isn't as much in astrology in my opinion as it is in how we deal with the relationship and the (astro/energy) dynamics in it. But synastry-wise, it is about the overall quality of the synastry, preferably a majority of supportive aspects to meet the challenges of the minority of challenging aspects. It isn't that complicated. Good aspects with the Nodes, especially Sun, Moon, Venus, etc, are also helpful for the relationship to feel it has a future. There is no greater power than the desire to love and be loved. With human beings it is our soul histories and our minds that get in the way. The potential comes from how we use the good that is there (charts or relationships). Humans too easily react to the bad, what they find irritating, or what they label 'unattractive' or whatever. The key is transmuting negatives into positives. That happens at a consciousness level. That is growth. We also attract to us what we fear so we can overcome it.------------------Soul Stars Astrology - by the declinations guy Declinations: because the planets move north and south of the celestial equatorRandallI totally agree, Kannon.RandallBump!hypatia238Moon conjunct/parallel Moon, Moon conjunct Venus, Sun conjunct Venus.Chiron, Juno, Juno aspect Chiron, Eros aspect Psyche, or Eros aspect female planets or psyche aspect male planets, valentine, thisbe pyramus aspects in general, agapenor, amor.Angle overlays, aspects involving the angles in synastry.I do feel when you have these things going on you can love someone right from the start.Generational planets I feel have more to do with forcing changes and experiences in our life to make us work through issues and grow/evolve than it has to do with true love but Pluto makes things feel dramatic, intense, life or death and Uranus adds this feeling of excitement, Neptune gives you butterflies.AriesLilithI guess that it can be complex and involves different ele, ents and patterns in a chart, but the aspec and midpoints, asteroids and even retrogrades can tell a lot.For example I have Venus retrograde and I wonder if that shows how I feel a hard time to feel loved. This can affect my ability to receive love which affects my relationship.A person qith hard aspects like amoon square Mars or Pluto can have bad temper that affects the capacity to have harmonious relationships. But all this doesn’t necessarily mean we can’t find love.
