Just a tiny bit of information. The Moon is in its place of domicile on the 7th- well atleast that's according to Chaldean system of planetary ruler placements.
I think this makes sense to me-given that our first "relationship" is with our caregivers whom we completely depend upon as infants to take care of us.
This relationship also evolves and changes in that as we grow up, we become caregivers or have people depend on us at each stage(7th house of balance).
Moon in 7th can also be galvanised towards activism as planets in 7th tend to emphasize the principles of "fair play" to the individual concerned(Jane Fonda has powerful Pluto conjunct her DSC axis).
But this "activism" with Moon in 7th is more geared towards fairplay in personal issues such as friendships, relationships, family and work relations etc.
Moon in 7th(much like the 6th) can be drawn to professions that deal with the latter I.e psychology, family law, counselling, nursing or anything that requires some personal involvement. This is especially the case when conjunct the DSC.
My best friend has Cancer on his DSC, there are no planets there. And the ruler(Moon) is in Pisces conjunct Merc,Mars and square Uranus in Scorpio(out of sign).
I don't see the moon/Uranus square as troublesome. It seems to just make him quirky-and that could be because the two signs involved are in trine aspect by sign.
His "types" appear to be the "save me from this unfortunate situation" (Pisces). As he has bailed a lot of his exes from crises.
He is very indirect in his expression of loving someone or wanting them.Again this could also be the Mars in Pisces part. But he is "mean" to the person he likes.
But once he is in a relationship, he gives his ALL. There are no boundaries and the lover moves into his home and he ends up taking care of them(again Pisces).
