T O P I C R E V I E WChildofVenusIn my natal chart would I read Moon parallel Saturn and Neptune as Moon conjunct Saturn and Moon conjunct Neptune? Is it basically the same? Kannon McAfeeYes.------------------"Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan WattsSoul Stars Astrology by The Declinations GuyExpert RectificationChildofVenus quote:Originally posted by Kannon McAfee:Yes.Do you think their are certain careers for people who have these aspects?Kannon McAfeeNo. If anything it tends to indicate a propensity for trouble with self acceptance, preoccupation with becoming someone in categorical social terms, with career (Saturn) being considered over personal needs and inner awareness (Moon), confused by impressions and ideas about both (Neptune). In the process, Neptune (higher inspiration especially in dreams at night) overcomes with the spiritual what Saturn denies in the material or social.------------------"Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan WattsSoul Stars Astrology by The Declinations GuyExpert RectificationRandallThanks, Kannon.ChildofVenus quote:Originally posted by Kannon McAfee:No. If anything it tends to indicate a propensity for trouble with self acceptance, preoccupation with becoming someone in categorical social terms, with career (Saturn) being considered over personal needs and inner awareness (Moon), confused by impressions and ideas about both (Neptune). In the process, Neptune (higher inspiration especially in dreams at night) overcomes with the spiritual what Saturn denies in the material or social.Thank you well I can't live in a dream world but I really enjoy Psychology. MelinnOh may I jump on to this ChildofVenus? , to avoid starting a new thread?Kannon, I always look into declinations since I read about them via you at this forum a year ago. Is parallels super strong? As strong as a normal conjunction would be?For ex, my friend has Moon (Aries) paralell Pluto (scorpio) , just by 1 degree, so its tight. Would you say this is as strong as a normal conjunction between the two, without the need to look at the whole chart?Nine quote:Do you think their are certain careers for people who have these aspects?Maybe the healing professions. I remember reading that with Saturn-Moon often there is parental disappointment, which may lead to confidence issues for the child - parents were hoping for a boy, and you're a girl. Whatever you are it's never good enough because fundamentally your parents wanted something else.Perhaps this may push you into the healing or counseling professions. "Catcher in the Rye" type of job.Yeah I remember my dad saying he wish I had been a boy or something similar to that. I agree with you about the counseling profession. waxlobsterMy Nephew is a Moon-Neptune, very closely conjunct in Capricorn (about 1 minute orb!).He never thought about a career, he was doing a degree in design IT and got poached by a large Aeronautical company before he got chance to start his MA. By 28 he had his dream job and to this day he's living the dream designing small parts for flight on high tech IT equipment. As for me, and my Dad both Moon-Saturn's we don't care so much about our careers, so long as the focus of our lives is being strong, supportive and stable for others. Although he had an instinctive knowledge of health (saved quite a few lives as it goes, at the sites of accidents, IRA bombs etc.) and me more the energy side of things. All my Moon-Saturn kin live to support others enough to see them thrive. It's inherent, so it does give a flavour to the career path overall.------------------blog: http://waxlobster.blogspot.co.uk/ How can you learn to express Venus sign more freely during this Venus Retrograde period? Of course, the difference is in blending the different signs involved, but that also happens with longitude conjunctions sometimes too. Yes it really is a blend of energies that can take different forms depending...Also aries and scorpio (mars-pluto-moon or venus)that is a pretty intense blend, also throw in houses, other planets etc..oh my..Thank you Kannon! Certainly no more than 1° orb for most planets. Maybe even less for some. I don't have distinct definitions for that yet, but remember a composite chart is a chart of midpoints, so orbs for aspects have to be tightened up quite a bit. You certainly don't use 6 or 7° orbs for midpoints with longitude aspects. ------------------"Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan WattsSoul Stars Astrology by The Declinations GuyExpert RectificationRandallBump!RandallThanks, Kannon.RandallBump!

In the process, Neptune (higher inspiration especially in dreams at night) overcomes with the spiritual what Saturn denies in the material or social.
