Well, conventional wisdom holds that conjunctions, oppositions and squares are the only aspects to be considered when it comes to midpoints.
The closer the orb, the better(no greater than 3 degrees). So I am not sure about trines.
Is there perhaps a conjunction, square or opposition in a closer orb aspect to a midpoint?
In my case for example,Mercury/Uranus midpoint conjuncts my Sun exact. So that makes relating to Uranus/Mercury descriptions a lot more feasable.
Uranus/Mercury often speak of someone who feels "alien" or "cut off"(Uranus) from the everyday grind(Mercury). And so, it makes relating with others quite inconsistent. A short attention span is also highlighted.
To support this is that Moon/Uranus midpoint also squares my Sun close to exact. So there is emotional comfort or resonance (Moon) with living a cut off/isolated or independent (Uranus) life from others.
I do tend to find it hard to retain emotional ties with people. As my preference for distance tends to make them feel like I have isolated them.
So I would look for Pluto aspects to other midpoints to explain the resonance-preferably the conjunction, square and opposition.
Maybe like me you have Venus/Mars midpoint on Pluto?
