T O P I C R E V I E WSoulOfABirdI noticed that most guys Im attracted to aspect my Venus by usually trine, conjunction or sextile. It's like 90% of the guys I liked have their Mars aspect to my Venus. Why is that? I know that these are usually indicators of attraction but I don't think everyone has the pattern of liking guys who aspect their Venus. Even though I have a lot of Aquarius placements I don't like guys who are too logical, unaffectionate or cold or arrogant. I like the opposite type of guy so guys mars aspecting my moon doesn't really do anything for me even though a lot of people like that aspect. What in a chart can cause someone to feel more pull towards someone aspecting their Venus? Are there any indicators? ------------------I appreciate the masterpiece that is you, because your existence alone is artGalacticCoreExplosion It sounds like you are fairly attuned to Venus. Heck, even your signature quote screams "Venusian!" (with some hints o' Jupiter, Neptune, Pisces, and/or Aquarius). Maybe that's why it's sensitive to aspects from others? I feel like I am! but Venus isn't even in my top 3 dominant planets! lol It's just crazy how guys I like usually have their mars aspect my Venus, I was like what's going on here? Little fact too is that my quote is from a song lyric and the guy who wrote it is a Pisces. I loved that lyric so much I had to use it for my signature 😂SimplyLunaDo you notice any other aspect Venus makes to theirs or in your own chart?I notice when someone is in midpoint to my Venus/Moon (they opposite), I like that feeling very much. Aspects to my moon or venus, I feel a pinch only. But the first one, it's like someone is tickling my stomach. hypatia238 quote:Originally posted by SoulOfABird:I noticed that most guys Im attracted to aspect my Venus by usually trine, conjunction or sextile. Girl I am very similar, all the guys I have gotten involved with serious or not their mars aspects my Venus and I love sextiles and trines the most but also attract Mars square Venus. Like you I dont like mars in hard aspect to my moon, they tend to want to get in my pants and it always feels that is all they want but I do enjoy Mars trine my Moon, this works for me so mars in cancer or in Scorpio.hypatia238To answer your actual question Venus rules my 5th house so Mars aspecting 5th house ruler would generate a lot romantic and sexual attraction perhaps.GalacticCoreExplosion I've long observed that Venus Mars square synastry tends to indicate a lot of intense passion/sexual attraction, but long term tends to be problematical because there is a lack of deeper compatibility. Sometimes the connection is too lust based and not enough deeper emotional or spiritual based unless offset by other patterns. (Like Venus Sun and Moon conjunctions, Venus Jupiter, Jupiter Ascendant, Sun, or Moon conjunctions etc).SoulOfABird quote:Originally posted by hypatia238: Girl I am very similar, all the guys I have gotten involved with serious or not their mars aspects my Venus and I love sextiles and trines the most but also attract Mars square Venus. Venus Mars conjunctions (or even just same signs really) are pretty intense as well but have more innate positive potential than the square as to deeper compatibility. I personally find Venus Mars opposite Signs, especially when in orb of aspect, to be particularly intense. My Egyptian love who I have talked about here and there--we had double Venus-Mars oppositions, though one had a 9 degree orb of separation. To further compound that, in her case, Mars is the ruler of her Sun, co ruler of her Moon, and ruler of her 8th, and is exactly conjunct (well with much less than 1 degree of separation), my Ascendant while also being opposed my Venus. And then, my Mars was also conjunct her Ascendant while being opposed her Venus! Jehoshaphat, Trigger! Can one even begin to understand the charged nature of this... (And this is not even including things like the ruler of my 5th and 8th, pretty much exactly conjunct her Ascendant, or my Sun in her 5th conjunct the modern ruler of her 7th, or the ruler of her 7th and 4th in my 5th very closely trine my Ascendant, etc, etc).hypatia238 quote:Originally posted by SoulOfABird: Ohh that's interesting. All the ones I've been very attracted to/have fallen for, have Cap Venus. Recently I realised (looking at charts of other men I've known with Cap Venus) that it's not just Cap Venus men that drive me crazy, it's Cap Venus in tight conjunction to their Saturn, both have to be somewhere in between 11 and 22 degrees. My Venus is in Leo my 7th H is in Cap 15° same with my natal Neptune. My Cap North Node in 7th H 18°.SoulOfABird quote:Originally posted by Plut0nian2:Haven't read the replies, I wanted to tell you that it sure has to be something more going on.I have way more specific placements when it comes to men but the standard one has always been Venus in Cap. Yup, all those factors definitely do indicate an increase in intensity of attraction. Heavily Plutonic connections certainly do tend to be rather challenging, but if both people involved are strongly attuned to Pluto in a more positive and conscious way, then it can work, and the couple can potentially become a force of reckoning in the world (in the larger, service sense).
