T O P I C R E V I E WvivietteHey upJust wondering, with a Cappy DC do you find that you have to see a rel’ship through to the bitter end ? Trying to work out where this « ability » 😅 is coming from.Which other set ups would suggest that kind of behaviour or would you expect it to be governed more by synastry / composite ?ThanxvansioI’d say it’s a fair assessment. Capricorn DC wants commitment, stability, security, solid foundation in partnerships so any relationship will be built (meaning to) last over time. implosionsI would say it could be true- especially if said person is in the millenial generation where Neptune and or Saturn may be in Cap/Near the DC. Although Uranus would probably be there too, which can have sudden ejections but also 'find ways' to hold on long past expiration if expressed in unhealthy ways.I would also look more to where the DC ruler (Saturn) is and how that's affecting planets. Someone with a Cap DC and no conjunctions might still be a long-game type, if Saturn is in strong aspect to say, Venus.CardinalT-SquareAs a Capricorn Descendant, we're more business oriented when it comes to partnerships, we think more along the lines of..."How can this person benefit me vs. someone else?" Or "Will this person be someone who will stick around in the long-haul?"We treat everyone like they're working for us for the most part, dates are essentially interviews more than anything, and we're not afraid to let someone go if we no longer see any value or benefit. Cruel, I know, but that's our nature, and why Capricorn is known as the "Goal-oriented Achiever.anska5 quote:Originally posted by CardinalT-Square:As a Capricorn Descendant, we're more business oriented when it comes to partnerships, we think more along the lines of..."How can this person benefit me vs. someone else?" For me it's all about the emotional connection, sometimes completely irrational and unexplainable, that makes me stick to someone. And they happen so few arnd far between. In fact, I would have often been a lot easier if I functioned that way because I would have let go of people who had zero benefit to me, but I just held on for that steel emotional bond. What I can say about capricorn DC, when we do connect with people then the bond is durable and stands the test of time. Extremely loyal. I also definitely would say a scarcity (saturn) when it comes to relationship. Not because there arent plenty of offers, but we only fall rarely.P.S. and yes, when I am in a relationship and there are still feelings left, I will fight till the better end for that relationship. Long after others may have long given upvivietteI agree with Anska5. The feelings are true. Also, for all Capricorn DC’s to be excluded from knowing love would be too unfair a system. There is simply no Love in thinking of benefits. Even though I am Leo with Cappy DC.I think love is about dropping your guard and you can even love your opposite. quote:Originally posted by anska5: Iand I have to say that typical defintion that we are business oriented and assess everything based on how much value someone can offer couldnt be FURTHER from my nature. That could be Pisces/12th house sacrifice, addictions (cannot let go) and delusions (don’t know when to let go). It could be the fixedness and pain mongering of a Scorpio. That could be a determined Aries (will not surrender). Capricorn is a builder. Hard working. Investing. Harvest. Idk about fighting to the bitter end. That sounds more like a warrior. Mars. For a Capricorn, it is business. It’s about having a return on investment. Of course, aspects and house placements modify this. That is my cappy moon’s experience of this descendent. kaniI have a Cap DC and what I can say that it's very hard for me to let someone close because when they are close, I take the relationship seriously and give a lot. I have no problem to cut the relationship off if they cross my boundaries though so I wouldn't say that I'm seeing a rs through for the sake of it. My heart MUST be in it, and it is the main driver when it comes to relationships but I never switch off my head though, ever.viviette quote:Originally posted by ReachingForTheStars: ...Capricorn is a builder.
