T O P I C R E V I E WSimplyLunaHi!I google for Astrology softwares in this forum and majority of the post were dated back to more than 10 years ago. Latest was 5 years ago. Was wondering if there are any Astrology Software there you used or recommended? I used Astro.com for a while now, but I feel it doesn't allow me to hold more than 100 charts. Toggling back and forth switching charts, house system becomes hectic. Would like something that I can toggle with ease and allow me to organize charts based on events, person.RandallBump!GrahamAre you using Windows 10?SimplyLuna quote:Originally posted by Graham:Are you using Windows 10?Mac, but I do have a program that mimics Windows 10Graham quote:Originally posted by SimplyLuna: Mac, but I do have a program that mimics Windows 10Then ... I purchased it in 1993; have updated/used it ever since and still do so now (despite having purchased another program (for $550) several months ago). However, Astrocalc.com is a one-man-band ... so the program will not get updated as often as you might like, and requires/needs users to be actively involved in reporting any problems/bugs in the software asap. Moreover, Astrocalc 6.5 now enables the user to select the planets which are and are not drawn in the chart; to step through progressions/transits in intervals of between 10 and 86400 seconds of time. (86400 clock seconds = 24 hours) and to access text interpretations for progressions, transits, natal charts, synastry comparisons and return charts. http://www.astrocalc.com/astrocalc-6-5-features/ Kannon McAfeeAstro.com has the most user-friendly software for novices and (near) professional standards you will find. I own SolarFire and cannot recommend it. In spite of it being one of the most accurate with its calculations and one of the most loaded with its features, it is not user friendly. It has been the source of the worst buyer's remorse I've ever had. I was unable to return it, unable to sell it. So I'm stuck with it. A Facebook group was required to help people through learning to use it. It is prone to freezing up and unpredictable problems. It can get in the way of the work rather than facilitate it properly. I still use Astro.com (Astrodienst) until I am forced to use SolarFire for more technical accuracy.I've used Zet, Astrolog, Planetdance, and others and Astrodienst (astro.com) is better, more user-friendly, and the programming team is responsive to suggestions. After I emailed them a year or two ago about including true (quotidian) progressions someone discovered and let me know they'd included them. Astrodienst is the very best software for the money, especially considering you're getting it for free. You could pay well over $300 for software that may have more features, but only one or two real improvements. ------------------Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations GuyExpert birth chart rectificationSimplyLuna@Kannnon I like astro.com a lot too.
