T O P I C R E V I E WBrenda_SI'm wondering if those you know or if it's perhaps you yourself... Do you struggle with deciding on a path to take? Be it career or whatever... Do you find yourself having constant new interests and struggle with just focusing on one thing?I honestly can't explain in words how real the struggle is. And I'm curious how you overcame it, if you did. I was just told of this woman, who published her first book at the age of 70, due to her being here and there and everywhere. Her Moon is in Gemini, and I can't make peace with the fact that I won't realize how fast time goes by and find myself at the 70 not having done anything. I need a way out lol. AyeletBig time. I know the struggle. You may consult an astrologer. I consulted several people, and didn't follow their advice through till the end. I think the main issue is commitment. But you can commit to more than one thing...StawrMy fiance has his moon here and his incisiveness drives me crazy. But he hides it well and fooled me for years with his Virgo stellulum. He changes his mind constantly in the order of decisions that effect the both of us. Like... when we should movewhen he we should get a housewhen we should get marriedmove first then look for a new job and have me move away when I am actually settled in career(at the time)have kids after we get marriedget a house before we get marriedhave a baby before we get a new housenot ready for home yet because might want to be on site tech for a few years but who knows when or whereWants to do the whole room mate thing with out talking to me first(early relationship years, and I said hell no, and how dare you not talk to me first)He also has a complex where he will almost do anything his mom says. "my mom says we should just have a court date wedding""my mom says our anniversary restaurant is too expensive, so we are going to eat here now." Seems highly influenced by bossy women.I think he only bought this apartment because the girl he was seeing before he met me put him down for living with his dad. I have to give ultimatums sometimes for things to actually happen. Naturally as a woman, I have been conditioned to go along with a guys plan. But I realized over the last few years that me following his plans does not really work for me since he doesn't follow through with anything. He has turned out to be successful regardless. But I have just learned that I need to be more in charge with planning on the domestic front. Since I moved in with him, even though we spit expenses down the middle he still kind of had that king of the castle complex...."you don't need this, we don't need that" until my cork started to blow off....like 3 years later. I get that these are important decisions, but I've had to make so many changes and bust my butt, and I need more to show for it than this apartment. I have a lot of Cardinal, 10th house, plus the tunnel vision Scorpio moon conjunct Pluto. So that has finally made me more "that's it, I'm calling the shots!"Sorry for all the venting. On a positive note his Gemini moon makes him hilarious and he can usually get me to crack up when I start to go into a dark place. One of my best friends has Gemini moon. In career she has always been very ambitious. But I think her exalted Capricorn Mars makes up for it. When she was in her 20's she was a flakey friend sometimes but that's it. teaselYes. diamondbabyAll Gemini Moon people I know are like this. They also have major procrastination issues in general.anonymidarkness I don't have problem with decisions, they just keep changing .anonymidarknessThe easiest way I've found out of that is to have a daily schedule and stick to it no matter what, I am good with that for some reason, maybe having too much Saturn helpss sometimes .Now, deciding on career path , there are plenty of options, most look good especially to a gemini moon, but I've found I've always known what I'm good at right from childhood, its just that I picked up things from people along the way, I tried them, failed, lol, I figured they were not meant for me, now if you work my bloody ass off I might get where they are, but why try to work hard to be like michael jordan in other's field when you already might be "anonymidarkness" (yeah double apostrophe right there) in ur own field. I think I confused my own self here through my ramblings, take it with a pinch of salt /Somna7H quote:Originally posted by Brenda_S:Do you struggle with deciding on a path to take? When I was a kid, I would come home from school, put the kettle on, and start the easiest homework. That worked for me, until I got really depressed in high school. I remember one report that I had to write, it was supposed to really long/in-depth - I totally forgot about it, until the night before it was due. I worked most of the night, but it was pointless. I dropped out, not long after that. Once we moved over here, and I studied at home, I got all of my work done.
