T O P I C R E V I E WSimplyLunaBecause it's not possible, there isn't any information on this aspect. In declination, it's possible to have Mercury contra-paralell to the Sun. How do I interpret this single aspect?Would this be someone who lacks confident in their own opinions and thoughts?Aries23DegreesTrue. It can't happen. Mercury can only be 2 signs ahead OR behind the Sun. Nothing more. Even the Contra parallel is not possible.married11yearsSun can't be opposition Mercury, not in NATAL birth chart. You can have a Transiting Sun opposite natal Mercury. But you cannot have a Natal Sun Opposition Natal Mercury. The rule, base on how close Mercury is to the Sun. Mercury can only be ONE sign away from the Sun, rather Mercury is the same sign as the Sun, or the next sign or the sign before it. Mercury can ONLY be 1 sign from the Sun (2, 3 signs away is WRONG). Google it.I cut and paste this here: [Because Mercury is closest to the sun, your Mercury sign will always be in the same sign as your Sun sign, or the sign before or after.]Aries23DegreesIf Sun is in VirgoMerc can either be in Leo/Vir/Lib.If Sun is in PisMerc can be in either Aqu/Pis/Ari[edited]married11yearsNo, if the Sun is in Virgo, Mercury can only be in Leo, Virgo, or Libra. (NEVER more than 1 sign away, Mercury travels very close to the Sun, at maximum of 28 degree orbit). Can you please show me a chart of anyone who can have Mercury more than 1 sign away from the Sun?Here go to Astro-seek. You can try the celebrities search (based on planets) here if you like. NONE have a Mercury that 1 sign more than the Sun. You must mistake it with Venus (as Venus can be 2 signs away, NOT Mercury though). It impossible, even astrologers say it.I think you mistake with Venus. Venus can be 2 signs away. NOT Mercury. Mercury is always 1!Aries23DegreesYeah. I was thinking of Venus. My bad😁. I corrected my earlier statement.married11yearsIts okay sis, I know astrology has alot of info. so sometimes we get mixed up.It just based on the orbit of how closed Mercury spinning around the Sun is, never could be more than 1 sign away.Venus can only be 2 signs away, and that is it! (rather Venus same as the Sun or 2 signs away), this is also due to the closest from Venus to the Sub orbit too.I often get mixed up, I swear I still can't tell the difference between a Scorpio sign and a Virgo sign. Both has letter M and has a tail, lol. Now I have go look at the color (blue is Scorpio since it water), Gray color is Virgo is it earth. And I got mixed up read the symbol of Quincunx and Semi-sextile too. As it triangle with a line, one is upside down, and one is not. Lol.It alot to learn. Thank you though Aries23Degrees, I love read all your posts, it Very informative and helpful.
