T O P I C R E V I E WMoonseedSo I have an Aquarius Moon. The thing is, I don't feel like an air moon at all, maybe because of the sun in Cancer, but still, I'm so tired of looking up on Aquarius Moon and getting the same things that don't apply to me at all... Also, It's on the 27th degree, so it appears in both tropical and sidereal charts, but in sidereal it falls on the Capricorn/Aquarius cusp, and the definition of Capricorn Moon is exactly me. Do you guys believe in cusps, Moon cusps particularly?etherealsaturnWhat is it about an Aquarius Moon that you don't relate to?What house system are you using?MoonseedI'm using Placidus, it's in the 5th house. So, I can't relate to how humanitarian Aquarius is, the whole "works better in groups" thing, considering friends more close to me than my family, needing freedom and thus kinda pushing people away, basically the only thing I can relate is the need that Aquarius has to be different than everyone else. Now, in Capricorn Moon, being shy, working better alone, being very pessimistic, selfish, manipulative, all those things apply... I'm sure you know that squares are hard aspects, I guess the more challenging aspects. This can mean that the Moon takes on a more Saturn-ish tone. The Moon is natural soft, sensitive, and almost immature in a way that it knows no practicality. However, Saturn is all about practicality. So now lies a conflict. Saturn kinda comes and toughens up the Moon so this MAY explain why you feel more like a Moon in Capricorn."Moon-Saturn reflects a strong sense of responsibility and a capacity to cope with considerable frustration." http://www.theastrologyplace.uk/2013/05/moon-saturn-aspects.html ^This article goes into detail about this aspect. I'm not the best at this as I've only been studying astrology for a few years. Looking at your chart, I'm thinking you probably feel more capricorn because it looks to be mostly water signs and earth signs. I'm thinking the aquarious moon is to give you a more social edge to obtain your gemini node in life. The water element is to make you emotional so that you care for(feel) for people with a grounded regard for life, people and love. thegrinning_catYou even have a T-Square with Sun, Moon and Saturn! This is an extremly energetic constellation which is usually quite unpleasant but very productive, if you work through it.Saturn is squaring both, your Sun and Moon. And your Sun is opposed to the moon.So themes of Saturn become very central for your intimate relations, with yourself and others. There could be fear of intimacy, of opening up and trusting another person. An inhibition of emotional expression. The square to the sun brings issues of selfworth to the foreground. Your pessimism is rooted there. There might be hesitations to go after what you want because you don't consider yourself worthy enough. This can lead to a massive withdrawl from others. But if you work those issues through, you might be rewarded by a high amout of wisdom, unusual to your age.Saturn is the Heremit. It's tough, because your Sun is in Cancer, the opposite to Saturn. But this also means that there are commonalities. For example both signs have issues with opening up to other people and building trust.SoltzeWhat's the Moon sign in Tropical?I see the sidereal chart more like a potential. Where your soul is heading.
