VirgoPILL | could you please help me? on one site it says these planets are in the 8th house on another site it says 9th. i read the descriptions and half/half true and not true o.O Venus 23°37'28" Leo Mars 24° 2'18" Leo |
Soltze | Maybe they use different house systems. The most common are Placidus and Equal House. You could try to do the charts in astro.com, compare and see which system seems to fit better ;-) |
VirgoPILL | cheers soltze! i followed instructions from this forum as how to use astro.com's chart drawings therefore i always use equal house there and i assume other sites use placidus. i didn't think in different systems houses could change. thanks again. |
Randall | What other differences are there for you between the two? Linda used Equal, but Placidus fits some people better. |
Soltze | I think "un"equal houses can reflect better the importance of several areas of a persons life. It also depends on the importance a person gives to the symbolic descriptions of the degrees of the zodiac. I like the variation in the degrees that begin the houses' cusps in the systems with different sized houses. In equal are houses they are 30º counting from the ASC. Like your ASC is 4 Libra...the twelve houses will start at 4 degrees of each sign.

sun/merc/venus/mars/plu pof/lilith falls into the next house in equal. i read the descriptions but because of the positions of my planets for instance 9th and 10th themes will play out regardless. |
