I'm still warring with the bedbug infestation here! OY!! Like being in a lake on a rowboat with a hole. I keep bailing with my bucket, but almost futile. Must keep going. After next week I'll have to make a stay or leave decision... Consequences of either is grim.... Means I'll have to give up the internet. Looking at unsheltered homeless situation ahead, and trying NOT to think until I absolutely have to MAKE that kind of decision. Again, sooo grim! But I'm hoping for a solution that will bring me into a better future for myself. Right now, my nose is smashed on the wall of limitation, and feeling very crushed.[Please don't "quote" that part] Just giving you the 'neighborhood' update.This morning, I decided to put aside the vacuum cleaner and the washings in order to listen to the Live Webcast for Carter Center.OMG!!!! It is EXCELLENT!! Clears up muddled thinking about the difference between "religion" and cultural traditions!God/Divinity is different from religion. Religion is overshadowed by culture and traditions Culture and traditions are the 'status quo' group of today Violence is a part of some traditions... especially in USA and others Women are not given equality as human 'being' in places Problem is soooooo subtle.
