T O P I C R E V I E WDynamic_StillnessDo you ever feel like everyone is out of reach?Someone just told me that I must be sad writing a poem on a Saturday nightMaybe I am but I want wine of a different kindI can only talk **** for so longI am no longer bothered if this doesn’t rhymeWhat can I say or how can I put itIt’s the tiredness that comes from hoping against hopeIt’s the pain that comes from not being able to stopTrying to kill yourself by holding your own breathI’m still empty but think I’m special for itI suppose it’s just one of those days when Loneliness creeps out and stares you in the faceAnd you know that no one is responsible, that’s what makes it so toughBeing with someone else just covers it upIt’s a loneliness given to me like a giftI hope against hope someone will hear thisBut I have written things beforeMade secret wishesIt comes and goes just like thisI think the title of this poem will be ‘untold loneliness’moonshine(((Akash))) Dynamic_StillnessMoonshine, I was just thinking about the light of the moon and how tender and gentle it is... Love and Light...YourAkash.moonshineI love your writings Akash. Has your friend who called you sad actually read any of your poems? I think they should... it would make them eat their words! Hope you feel better soon xGuardianAngelYes, I do know what you mean, about the loneliness deep inside. There are days when I feel "disconnected" and I, too, realise that no-one is to blame, not really. Sometimes it takes all my strength to put my mind on a higher plane so I can transcend the loneliness from within, rather than use what is on the outside. I challenge my ego to stop being so needy, to turn that energy instead toward GIVING AND LOVING - to others, to my work, to my mundane everyday tasks. Give everything that I do and everyone that I meet warmth and honour. And one more thing I'd like to share - I just read it this morning - "Humility is NOT the belittling of the self - it is forgetting the self" in other words, it is putting the ego away. Living from the soul, rather than the ego. I hope this helps you.Dynamic_StillnessThank you both, it was just one of those nights when I longed for the companionship of souls like yourSelves. It's a bright morning here in the City of London, I have just got out of bed am about to dance my way to work.I would be honoured if you let me offer this poem to the both of you...It's by the beloved mystic-persian poet ((Rumi)Love, Love, Love and more Love. YourAkash. in every breath if you're the center of your own desires you'll lose the grace of your beloved but if in every breath you blow away your self claim the ecstasy of love will soon arrive in every breath if you're the center of your own thoughts the sadness of autumn will fall on you but if in every breath you strip naked just like a winter the joy of spring will grow from within all your impatience comes from the push for gain of patience let go of the effort and peace will arrive all your unfulfilled desires are from your greed for gain of fulfillments let go of them all and they will be sent as gifts fall in love with the agony of love not the ecstasy then the beloved will fall in love with you -- Ghazal (Ode) 323 Translation by Nader Khalili Rumi, Fountain of Fire Cal-Earth Press, 1994moonshineThats beautiful Thank you. I've copied it down to keep in my journal Being someone who is also looking for "wine of a different kind I need reminding of this kind of good advice often... Lol! GuardianAngelThank you so much for sharing that beautiful poem, Akash, so heart-warming and soul-enriching. When you revealed that you are from London, I was in awe of the fact that we souls, kindred spirits that we are, can transcend time and space using the medium of technology. Which, if you think about it, everything that man has invented, created and brought into existence all began with a thought - and where, pray tell, do thoughts originate? From "Out There" in the realm of the gods & goddesses- we are merely conduits. And about the poem you shared with us, that's a message from the gods & goddesses if ever I heard one ! Have a beautiful day.Dynamic_StillnessMoonshine...May I always remain in your light.GuardianAngel...You are that!Loving mySelf expressed as you both.Love birthing Life, Akash. aquaoh akash! i love the way u shape it ,its just so natural and wonderful!!!its awasome ,keep doing this kind of work because sometimes it really fills the soul.maya-vMy muse is a devotee or even another avatar of Rumi ... in every breath if you're the center of your own desires you'll lose the grace of your beloved

in every breath if you're the center of your own thoughts the sadness of autumn will fall on you

all your impatience comes from the push for gain of patience let go of the effort and peace will arrive
all your unfulfilled desires are from your greed for gain of fulfillments let go of them all and they will be sent as gifts
fall in love with the agony of love not the ecstasy then the beloved will fall in love with you
