Such a passionate Hearted Being. I love your strength. And I love how you share yourself here with vulnerability to be admired. Remember that YOU are what's important, always. AyeletHi Mirage, I saw what you wrote and wished to respond, but it took me some time, and when I got to it, i saw you deleted... So i don't know what i can refer to... I don't know why you deleted it, but anyhow, what you wrote moved me. It is absolutely true. It is a story, though, spoken through a man who has no special presumptions aside from being a buddhist, something i don't highlight but leave to embelish the end. I don't think i yet understand buddhism to the core, but i am trying to figure that out. As for materiality, i totally agree. I think i am not whole in that sense. As i talk through the man i make him admit he is common, and doesn't understand a more elevated vision, but still a more noble emotion is being awaken in him. Thank you for all you wrote and deleted It was an inspiration. If you kept to the original, my response would have been a bit longer.Much love to you and merry christmas!thequeenI don't understand how do you write so to the core..this one is the most direct one. No illusions, just on your face, with a depth of passion, like communicating with your heart.. Very touching...AyeletThank you thequeen mirage29I am so incredibly deeply humbled by your response, Ayelet I'm feeling that I'm beginning to know you better right now... Thank you. Some people like to keep very crisp boundaries and thick filters around their belief systems and what is "allowed" to be comfortably exchanged... Ayelet, you (and others now) help me feel a more porous atmosphere is here.I'm very thrilled that you had seen the original post, and that it moved and added to value for your understanding. So glad to see that the experiences I shared has a value to you. When you included a mention of your background, while 'holding space' with the entirety of your poem, the symbolism you used began to take on additional meanings to me, which prompted me to share from a different perspective than I would have. I also have lived my life through an intense and person devotion to God (just through a different route). I recognize some of the traps where a fellow-traveler can get caught without realizing it. And then, throw in the flows and energies of worldly love-life woundings?? Oh, giant big ouches!!! I 'feel' compassion for you there with that one..., from a shared inner-monastery-like fortress tower. You have a fine quality and character, Ayelet. When you're ready, and after you have hugged and loved all those things you've abandoned within you, then you may see there are already many Other Mansions surrounding you... A new day.'A Saint is just a sinner who fell down, then got up' Call it all Joy! We are being re-formed... Our eyes begin to see, and the heart learns to feel what's Real, and worthy once again.(music) We Fall Down, But We Get Up (Donnie McClurkin) [4:53] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3ewPHaPBfA Much Love and A Most-Beautiful Peace to you this Season... mirage29Ayelet! I came across this nostalgic song and thought immediately of your poem. Ran over here to share it.Instead of using the song's words 'the man,' people can substitute words like 'the one who', or 'the Dream that' .... got away.I regret that I deleted my post earlier. I thought maybe I had gone too far in saying all what I did. So glad you got to see it, and commented. Here's the song (music) {The Man} That Got Away (Outtake 2) [4:24] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaNxDlqiFwU AyeletThank you dear Mirage . I loved the songs. I never know whether I got up or not, though... You are right, Gudy Garland's song fits the poem. I wonder how true love fits into a religion. I remember what you wrote about it, concerning finding a kindred soul. have a wonderful day!mirage29
