I’m the nothing King
Sitting in my plastic throne
Reigning over the lands of nowhere
The wholeness of my kingdom
Belongs to the people
If they ever want to comeMy parcel, big as a garden
With plantations made to feed
The whole planet earth
But I eat alone the mighty corn
And the food is pilling
While the world is hungry
Religion is a forbidden thing
Freedom is the only mandate
And love must always be strong
You don’t even need to bow
As long as you know me
The nothing king
Don’t betray your friends
Don’t sell cheap your grain
Cause we’re in times of war
Don’t tie your beloved one
Don’t treat her unkind
Cause death will come to you
Ah but what’s a king
Without his beloved queen
Present only in his dreams
With her empty chair beside him
He longs for the gypsy
That will bring the Babylon’s bliss
And if I had streets to walk
I will be a comrade to you all
Cause a king is a peasant in the end
And if I had people to know
I will make the midnight feast
To celebrate the nothingness
I’m the nothing King
Sitting in my plastic throne
Reigning over the lands of nowhere
The wholeness of my kingdom
Belongs to the people
If they ever want to come
