T O P I C R E V I E WQueenofSheebaWe watched a vidoe on Che Guevarra in Spanish today, and later I got in an argument with some other people as to whether Che was really a great revolutionary leader or not. I argued that he was a stupid rich boy who naively tried to start a revolution based on ideals, botched it, and got himself killed. When he was cornered by the Bolivian army, Che sat down and said," You'd better not shoot me, I'm the Che." They argued that he was a great revolutionary leader, fighting for high ideals; he had all of Bolivia behind him! Anyone here have an opinion on him?Ready set go. ------------------Hello everybody! I used to be QueenofSheeba and then I was Apollo and now I am QueenofSheeba again (and I'm a guy in case you didn't know)!theFajita3QofS you always surprise me with your discussions! Very impressive! ------------------Namaste!pidauaI know that he was a Leo jwhopHey pidaua, we kicked Che out of the Leo fraternity ages ago. They named a cigar after him anyway, a little short, fat torpedo shaped one. http://secure.thompsoncigar.com/default.aspx?sid=f01e948c-41a3-4fbe-aad6-1ca74c70cf03&page=product&uid=496&sender=search jwhopQueenofSheebaYes, Leo would make sense. I think that Che was idolized mostly after he died. Before, nobody seems to have cared about him- I mean, his great liberation army consisted of 17 fighters, and not all of them Bolivian. Not so great an army. So, would anyone like to defend Che for the purpose of friendly debate?------------------Hello everybody!
