Randall | Twitter has lost 12 percent of its value, and it is still dropping. Parler is suing Amazon under antitrust laws. Obviously, these giants have joined in crushing what they view as a competitor. If it can be proved through the discovery process of various communications or forensic audits of computers that they colluded with each other, this could be largest monetary award in history. |
Belage | I don't think this battle will be won in court because guess what, we no longer have a viable court system to deal with this kind of power. Judges can and will be bought. Or intimidated. We've seen it with the elections. What is going to create trouble for Big Tech is when the silent majority is going to desert them to go to the smaller and emerging tech media that allow them to express themselves, and these media will become huge, thereby supplanting the current Big Tech. the 12% drop in Twitter's stock is just an harbinger of things to come. |
PhoenixRising | Says who. Twitter managed just fine. 3 % correction. Lot of big techs don't like Trump especially after the manner in which his supporters stormed the capital. The drama is not over until Jan 20 and even that day, rumor has it to stay in your homes. |
PhoenixRising | Rumor has it Trump is going sign an EO to ban trading stocks /ETFs owned by chinese companies. The reset has begin long ago and China, rumored to be a favorite of the illuminatis is slated to win the war unless America ups its Ante. Just as after WW2 America shone. This time it is China that will shine post covid 19 without firing a single missile. The great reset is so far following the narratives. |
PhoenixRising | No tech companies has humble origins. Bill gates is obviously tied to the third reich. Larry Ellison of Oracle had to lie to sell to the Feds and then his database got popular. All are worthless in eyes of the big Judge. I can go on but don't have the time. Saturns presence in Aqua or Cappy will spun karmic rewards to the just and unjust. |
Randall | The House Judiciary Subcommittee--which is run by Dems--just a few months ago (after a year-long study) that Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google have Monopoly power and should be split up. They not only censor, but they can de-platform. You can pay for Google ads, but they can still put you out of business. I thought Dems used to be against big tech? The end is near for these monopolies. R.I.P. |
PhoenixRising | Wish it came sooner. Oracle has been buying companies forcefully and disrupting the market. All of their labourers had to relearn a new skill or abandon and join another co. Time to teach those narcissist some lessons. |
Randall | I predict Amazon will survive unscathed, Google will pay the steepest fines in history, Facebook will face a mass exodus, and Twitter (little tech) will close down. |

The silent majority doesn’t give a crap about any of this. They aren’t on anyone’s side. |
jwhop | "The silent majority doesn’t give a crap about any of this. They aren’t on anyone’s side." What silent majority? Can't be democrats. I've never known a democrat that could keep their mouth shut for 5 minutes. In any event you're dead wrong. America is a nation of fair minded people. Even those who don't use social media know that social media is throttling free speech and applying their rules in an arbitrary way. There's already a big backlash. |
