Randall | By buying 9 percent of the stock for $3 billion dollars, he is Twitter’s largest shareholder. Thirty percent would be a controlling interest, so expect more. He promises big changes and the promotion of free speech. But was it a good business decision? The day he did it, stock shot up 27 percent! He only has passive shares, so why would he be given a board position? Part of the agreement is that he can’t buy more than 14 percent while a board member and for 90 days thereafter, and this engage in a hostile takeover (30 percent gives controlling interest). |
Belage | Elon Musk is restoring my faith in human beings. And that democracy can prevail in this country. Yep... |
Belage | If Twitter had not censored the doctors and scientists who didn't toe the Covid official line... we wouldn't have been dealing with this mass psychosis mess, medical tyranny and political gaslighting... For democracy to exist, diverging opinions MUST be allowed on the public square. And twitter is one of the main public squares in our nation and the world. Thank you, Mr. Musk, Sir, for doing something revolutionary, vital and historical with your EFF YOU money! |
Randall | He is uncancellable. This is a big win for free speech! He also turned on the internet for Ukraine when Russia destroyed their internet capabilities. He sells electric vehicles but is supportive of America ramping up oil production and America going back to being energy independent, so he has integrity. |
Belage | Washington Post publish an article saying Elon Musk's vision of "free speech" will be bad for Twitter. On what planet have been they living? Does WaPo's forked tongue even knows what free speech means anymore? |
Randall | The left are hilarious. |
teasel | Twitter didn't cancel anyone who lied about covid not being serious, or told people that they should go back to work and school, and stop wearing masks. |
teasel | Elon is a dick. |
Randall | Of course, you think he is. He supports free speech and individual rights. |

How about Dr. Malone, the man who practically invented the mRNA technology who was cancelled? How about Dr Peter McCullough, a renowned cardiologist, who was censored? teasel, I could give you a long list of scientific authorities that were cancelled and/or censored because they disagree with the Covid party line, but I know you won't read past the first line because you think ignorance is bliss. |
shura | Is he still impregnating that "AI gives us communism" witch? Haven't been keeping up |
PhoenixRising | I have heard he plans to leak all the blue blooded people who communicate using twitter and leak it to the Martians He was a great scientist in the previous incarnation in another star system. This time his free will is more negative oriented, I believe.
|
Randall | He has offered to buy 100 percent of the stock at an 18 percent premium over what it closed for and turn Twitter into a private company and unlock its potential to be “the platform for free speech around the globe!” http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2022/04/14/elon-musk-offers-to-buy-1 00-percent-of-twitter-restore-free-speech/ |
PhoenixRising | Hope he doesn't turn out like Larry Ellison the Oracle insane chief and destroy the co. after the take over. |
Randall | The ones who were destroying it were the censoring leftist woke mobs. Long live free speech! |
PhoenixRising | Time will tell if blue is right at the moment or the reds. But red always stands for the inferior in all polarity models . Keep that in your mind as you navigate the Sine (sin) wave. ("S" serpent like) ...hahah... The truth was always out there. We were not ready to receive it. |
Randall | Elon Musk has offered to buy Twitter for $41 billion in cash. The board is meeting in less than an hour today (at 1:00 pm EST) to consider the offer. |
Randall | The offer to buy the stock itself is $54.20 a share, or $43 billion. |
Randall | The Twitter board members have decided to try to block the takeover with the “poison pill” by diluting the stock. This is likely a violation of their fiduciary duties to the corporation and to the shareholders, thus piercing the corporate veil and making the board personally liable. This tactic won’t work with Elon Musk because he owns so many shares. I think he should sell all his stock. All of it. Twitter stock will tank. He can then buy the controlling interest at a great discount and then remove the board. Check. And mate. |
PhoenixRising | America was made a corporation soon after Lincoln died. Go figure who owns the shares technically no matter who runs the corporation. 911 destroyed the WTC and its basement contained something important... Remember Corporation -- corpses of nation. Everything is a lie. The dominoes are falling. Rockerfeller will turn against the Rothchilds , Nations will go bankrupt, etc etc.... Truth will be known by all. Time is ripe.
