While I don't buy into the mainstream view of climate change, I do understand why so many do. It seems logical and plausible on the surface. After all, it seems like the only variable that has changed. (But the data seems to be purposely manipulated to give that impression). But if one looks at the Sun, the earth's magnetic field and inner core, the on going various major changes in almost all the Planets of our Solar system, etc, then one understands that there is much more going on than just CO2 emission.
And, human effect does contribute, but it seems only a little in comparison to these other major factors like Sun, earth's inner core, etc.
But yeah, I do understand and sympathize with why so many do believe that climate change is due to human influence. As least as far as the everyday, average people. The scientists who believe in this, I am more critical of, because they should know better and look at ALL the variables objectively.
But, at the end of the day, scientists are just fellow biased humans. And sometimes, when you're a little smarter than the average, this facilitates a certain amount of hubris, arrogance, and close mindedness.
Which is why, it is only ever the rare/uncommon scientists are who are MUCH smarter and perceptive than the average, who make any significant changes in, and advance science, while all the rest are "yes men" that actually block the progression and evolution of science, because they cling to old, accepted beliefs and paradigms.
